Bloody charging brilliant!
Review of Kensington USB Car Phone Charger by
somebodyrandom
Advantages: Simply amazing
Disadvantages: None what so ever!
...if the battery goes back up to two bars,
3. Turn the phone off completely; you can't be bothered chatting to your girl friend or the important customer from Japan,
4. Invest in a 'Kensington USB Car Phone Charger,' that can be used to charge up the phone in either the car or office.
Option 1 is a no no. Charging up a battery, especially the modern lithium ion batteries, for short periods of time does more damage then good. You see, the battery has a 'memory,' and will remember how much power was in it before it was recharged. It will then count this as being empty, so the capacity of the battery decreases significantly. This happens slowly though, so doing it on a one off occasion is fine. (The memory can be compared to a plastic carrier bag, scrunch it up and it will uncrumple itself a bit, but not enough to return to its original shape...

Uniross Ultra Fast Charger Review - Best Charger
Review of Uniross - Battery charger - 14 hr - 4xAA/AAA, 2x9V - included batteries: 4 x AA type NiMH 1300 mAh by
carrmanor
Advantages: Very fast charge times, turns off automatically.
Disadvantages: None
...can get and a pack of these alone cost £15 (Argos).
It charges either Ni-Cd or Ni-MH rechargeable batteries and either AA or AAA. You can only charge up 2 or 4 at a time. There are 2 LED's. One is green which means the charger is switched on. The other is red to mean it is charging the batteries.
Besides mains you can also charge in the car with the supplied adapter. It is also compatible in different countries as it can take power from 110-240 volts.
Most uniross chargers are units that plug straight into the socket but this is a seperate box with an adapter which I find alot better as the old ones were too big for many of my sockets because the sockets were so near the ground.
The charger looks quite good and is a dark blue. I have found no problems with this and it saves me money as I mainly use the batteries for my digital...

Tiny versatile charger
Review of Uniross - Battery charger - 14 hr - 4xAA/AAA, 2x9V - included batteries: 4 x AA type NiMH 1300 mAh by
querth
Advantages: Tiny, 12v Car Adaptor Included
Disadvantages: Battery compartment door falls off easily
...Uniross "Ultra Fast Charger"
This charger takes up to 4 AA or AAA (slightly smaller than AA) sized batteries; charging either two or four at a time. It is capable of charging 4 batteries, either Ni-Cd's or Ni-MH type, in around 2 hours and is supplied with a mains power and a 12v cigarette lighter adaptor.
4 AA Ni-MH 1300 mAH batteries are included with the charger, though its worth investing in some 1800 mAH or 2000 mAH ones for digital camera use as they last a bit longer. This charger is around the £25 mark, but you should be able to get it for less if you shop around. Good value for such a versatile device.
Its size (about the same as two packs of cards), weight (less than the batteries you put in it) and provision of a car charger makes it ideal to slip into a digital camera bag to recharge batteries on the move...

Hama Delta Ni/Cd Ni-MH Fast Charger
Review of Hama Delta 2/4 Microprocessor Controlled Ultra-Fast Ni-MH/Ni/Cd Charger by
djdarkstorm
Advantages: Very fast for charging high Mah batteries
Disadvantages: only charges AA and AAA batteries
...Well Ive had this charger now for around two months.
I bought it online as with having a young daughter the need for recharging batteries is a weekly task and my old charger took over 10 hours to charge a set of 4 AA's.
This charger is absolutely brilliant it came with 4 high power 2500 Mah Ni-MH AA batteries and charges these from flat in around two hours I also use it a lot for low spec Ni/Cd 700Mah AA batteries and it charges these fine as well as my AAA 250Mah batteries in under an hour. So to sum up this little charger which comes with a mains adapter as well as an adapter to use your car cigarette socket I would rate it as excellent and definitely recommend to my friends or anyone after a compact high quality charger for a low price.
The only downfall ive found is that I also need to charge larger size C and D batteries...

Certainly comes in handy
Review of Nokia In-Car Charger by
Infinity
Advantages: Can charge your phone on the move
Disadvantages: None really
...I don't really know what to say about this product. I mean how do you get excited about a piece of plastic with a cord and plug hanging off of it? Sounds really interesting doesn't it?
Right then, I'll try my best to give you the low-down on what is essentially a boring yet useful product. The charger that I am referring to is for the Nokia 5110 (check out my opinion). I'm not too sure whether this charger is universal or not. At a guess I'd say yes and no because not all Nokia phones have the same plugs on their bottom.
Basically what you have is the core part of the charger that plugs into you cigarette lighter in your car. This contains the actual workings that take power from the car battery and charge your phone. Once plugged in you'll see a red light (on the charger) come on to let you know that you have power. Then you...

Handy little number!
Review of Nokia In-Car Charger by
rfmoon82
Advantages: Very handy when out and you have no time to find a powerpoint.
Disadvantages: Charging is slower than normal chargers
...I use an in-car charger quite regularly, as you might not know when you next get chance to charge your mobile. Its also great for keeping the phone away from the death throws stage, but even on long distance journeys (200 miles +) I have found the phone doesn't quite fully charge.
However this may be due to me only owning a small car with a smallish battery. No doubt the Lexus driver would charge their phone to bursting point! Never-the-less its an undeniably handy piece of equipment for the car owner (obviously).
A point to be aware of though, I have a Nokia 7250 and despite the house power point charger I have owned since I had an old 5110(?) still being compatible and charging the phone perfectly well, (although the phone company may like you to think otherwise ...) the old nokia in-car charger results in a "not charging...

In car charger warning
Review of Panasonic G520 by
jmacleod
Advantages: Vibrates, Pay as you go
Disadvantages: All memories in the SIM not the phone
...Just a warning about using a propriatary in car charger with the Panasonic G520. DON'T
This is a great phone and is one of the best value pay as you go phones. If you are tempted to save a bit of cash and go for a cheap in car charger just don't. I bought an in car charger from LINK and it fried the phone within a day. Symptoms were turning itself off at random intervals (sometimes only minutes).
I bought another one and used a genuine Panasonic charger and have had no problems with it....
