The Energizer Battery Charger

...I had been intending to purchase a battery charger for quite a while. In fact I had even dropped hints to certain family members around Christmas time, but to no avail. I was recently reminded of this missing piece of equipment in my life when I rediscovered the PC lead to my digital camera. Remembering that a pair of standard batteries lasted for only about 30 photos in this camera I decided that it was certainly time to invest in a battery charger and some rechargeable batteries. The Archos 605 provides a worthy alternative to the I-pod video, although it suffers from a less ergonomic design and is heavier due in part to the hard drive. However where it does better the ipod is it's durability with a rugged case and strong solid build quality feel to the buttons it will be hard to break. The large screen makes viewing a pleasure and the battery is capable, in my experience, of at least 5 hours solid video playback but i am yet to meet the claim of 17 hours music playback advertised with the unit averaging about 13-15 hours without recharge. It has two LED's which light up green when both sides have batteries placed with in it, if you only place two batteries on the front only one LED will light up and vice versa. If on the other hand the LED's don't light up then your battery is either faulty or you haven't places it in the charger properly. Advantages: Light, extra features, good quality, memory, media support.
Disadvantages: Not really any.

...I have tried a few of this internet media tablets now and, in my opinion, the thing that makes them so special is their size and weight. A laptop or notepad could do a very similar job. However, it is not very easy to put a laptop in your pocket. Anyway on to the product: Picture quality For it's size, quite impressive, when I bought this I was expecting something along the lines of a phone screne, but it's more along the lines of a PC's. It's really clear and has 800 x 480 pixel resolution with 16 million colours. 5/5 Sound quality Obviously something this size isn't going to be packing a surround sound, but it's speaker is pretty loud and clear.
