If you have lost or broken your data cable or bought your phone second hand and did not recieve one then you will need to pay around £5 - £10 depending on what sites or shops you buy it from. It is great value for money as you will always be using it. ---THE CABLE--- The cable its self is quite strong and will last a long time however if the cable is pulled or not looked after correctly then you will break it quickly. I have had the contacts bent on mine which means the connection between the phone and the PC can not be made and so the cable is useless. ...The 3210 has a data connection port built in to the circut board that allows you to connect the phone to a PC. The data cables allow you to unlock your phone with unlocking software to use different network's SIM cards in a phone locked to a particular service provider. Unlocking with a data cable is now not neccesary as there are websites that provide the unlocking codes for free, calculated from the phone's IMEI number and the network code. The cables are still useful as they allow you to activate features hidden in some models, such as the hidden games; react and logic, plus you can activate the line 2 facility and enable the vibrate function, with the Nokia Profile programme. ...I am definately not a techno type of person but can certainly recommend this data cable. It is a useful, functional piece of equipment which allows you to link your Sony camcorder to any kind of PC. The main thing I would say is, that if you find yourself in need of this cable then the best thing to do is to shop around. There are bargains to be had and quite big differences in the prices charged for it. Amazon is quite a good place to look, as not only do you get an Amazon price but there are other offers to be found there for new cables too. When I was looking the best deal available was £7.99 (plus shipping). Or of course you could order from Amazon when you are buying other items and then be eligible for free shipping if you spend £15. ...I got my data cable to add ringtones, logos and unlock it. You know, I actually never did any of these. I got bored of it after about 10 minutes. You have to fid somewhere decent to get the rigtone/logos from, then discover you have to pay somehow alot of the time. Then there's the trying to connect it to your phone. Don't buy this without instructions! You need to remove the back of the phone, and insert it down the side of the SIM, and hope it's in right. the cable has 6 little pins that touch 6 metal bits , and they have to touch, usually with you pushing dow o the cable to keep them touching! In fact, you're probably better off just buying the ringtones out the back of Hello Magazine or something, it's so confusing. I must have spent a good couple of hours trying to find some program that works to unlock. They all failed... Read review

This is a normal printer cable which means it has two ends, one being the end which goes into any USB port in your computer or laptop, this end is the rectangle shaped end and is called a type A. ...I gave my 2GB Kingston flash drive a few months ago and I think it's really great. I can use it for Microsoft Windows Vista ReadyBoost to speed up my PC. It's not too expensive and it has got a life-time warranty. It's really fast and every operating system contents a driver to use it. If you want to buy a somewhat cheap flash drive, and need a good quality buy that. Most of new PCs can boot from USB nowadays. Thanks to the USB 2.0 technology I can boot up my favourite live Linux distribution from it and I can save it back when I finished the work. You can use it for system rescue too but if you don't need these special "features" just use it to store and move data. :)... Read review

...Well this is one way of networking two computers or two laptops or one of each. All you need is this cable and the disc that comes with it (providing you have spare USB ports on both systems). The device does not need an external power supply. You can connect this cable without the need to restart or turn anything off as it is ‘hot plugable’ and ‘plug-and-play’ compatible. Once connected to each device (either end can go in either system – it doesn’t matter), then depending on the operating system, the device should be recognized and with Windows XP, you need to install the drivers from the CD. There is no paper manual to go with this product, but it’s easy enough to use and they put it on the driver CD in case you need it.
