A stick with 64MB of memory
Advantages: storage for all file types
Disadvantages: more memory capacity

- A brief Dell founder summary-
Dell was founded by Michael Dell in 1984 and was originally named 'PC limited'. At that time IBM was the main specialists in computer products and components worldwide. Michael learn't his trade by using IBM mainframe computers on processing speeds of only 2MHz. Dell wanted to find away to quicken up data processing and so got to work on building a prototype. In 1985 he managed it with a staggering 8 MHz processor speed. Michael was on his way to being a success in the US and has gone from strength to strength. Revenue 2006>> 56...

Disgo lite USB Flash drive
Advantages: good looking small and compact
Disadvantages: small memory for larger files
... Overview
I first got this when a 64mb flash drive was seen to be massive and since then I have never looked back, it really is tough as nails.
Memory
This is the smaller 64mb flash drive which may seem small but it can hold a lot, as a student I always have to make, edit and transfer documents so if I constantly have to print out copies it becomes expensive and tiring so it's easier to stick it on a flash drive and give it to a teacher. Even when I have had much larger files like pictures that I have been giving to friends I have used this and found that there is plenty of space; however I do recommend that if there are a lot of photos that you zip the file and then put it onto the drive as it saves a lot of space.
Reliability
Like I said before this flash drive is tough as nails I have had this now...

Belkin 64MB Memory Stick
Advantages: Reliable, Good value for money!
Disadvantages: Can lose easily
...After months of using a set of 1.44mb floppy disks, to transfer data from from pc, to school, and back again, I descided that this just wasn't very efficient. I lost a lot of work from a floppy disk suddenly deciding to stop working.
I decided to buy a usb flash drive or memory stick, when I borrowed my teachers', to transfer a large file home. This was when I decided to buy one of these myself, and get rid of my floppy disks.
These USB sticks are very useful, they can store a lot of data(64mb) and they are fairly reliable, I have had no problems in the 2 months, that I have been using it.
The USB drives are very simple to use! Just plug them into the USB port at the front, or the back of your computer, or laptop and the computer will detect it straight away, no installation required(windows 2000+). To remove the memory stick...

A slim and compact USB Flash Drive.
Advantages: Slim, compact, very trendy outlook and fast performance.
Disadvantages: None really.
...with the system. It has a basic Plug n Play facility and supports almost all the operating systems such as windows XP and windows VISTA. After plugging it in to your PC/Laptop, it automatically gets connected with the system. Though it says that it has 1GB of capacity, in reality it has 955 MB of capacity.
MY PERSONAL EXPERIENCE
I am really impressed with the classy look and design of this USB flash drive. Particularly as it has no cap, so there is no fear of losing caps any more. It is also very light, small compact and very stylish. In my personal opinion, this flash drive works better with Vista compared to XP. Though nowadays, people usually use USB flash drive with much more storage capacity such as 4GB, 8GB or even 32 GB. Still this 1 GB drive serves me well, especially when I need to transfer some important course presentation and data...

Dis goes everywhere.
Advantages: robust, compatible, easy to use
Disadvantages: Size on your keyring
...instantly on this pen. You simply plug the little device into a USB port on the back of your computer and use Windows Explorer to "drag and drop" the files from their location to the pen! You can even password protect the contents of the pen to stop unwanted eyes using it!
Simple. Yes. When you open up windows explorer when the pen is plugged in, it will show as a drive on your computer. When it is plugged in for the first time, your computer detects it and sets it up for you!
No drivers needed. No disks or software needed. You just plug it in and off you go.
It also requires no power so no batteries required. It gets everything it needs from your computer via the USB port.
My Pen holds up to 64Mb of data but the entire range goes from 16Mb pens right up to 1Gb! So you have loads of storage space available should you need it.
It can...

A students best friend
Advantages: Very light and compact (ideal for your keyring), doesn't need drivers after Win98, cool pulsating light, price
Disadvantages: Fragile casing, USB 1.1 (Not 2, and hence not as fast as it could be)
...Overview:
The 64MB Disgo mobile flash drive allows you to store files on a keyring sized USB "dongle" from virtually any computer system with USB support (Windows > Win98, Linux, Mac, etc).
It's ideal for people who need to work on data both at work or university and home. As a student I use it to take data back and forth between university and home allowing me to work on reports wherever I am - keeping it on my keyring helps with that.
----------
Installation and Use:
This of course varies from system to system so I can only comment on Windows and Linux as I don't use the Mac at all (Sorry all you Mac-Zealots).
Windows:
If you've got WIndows 98 or lower you'll first need to install the USB Mass Storage drivers (these are available through windows update) but after that the procedure is the same as for later Windows...

Kingston USB 2GB Flash Drive
Advantages: Speed of small transfers
Disadvantages: No ReadyBoost, feels cheap
...Hi today I will be reviewing a Kingston DataTravler 2GB USB Flash Drive. I bought this a few months ago after losing my other flash drive. It cost me 9.97 from PC World but I believe you can get them cheaper in other places.
Speed
For the data that I transfer to it i.e. pictures and some small visual basic programs it transfers them extremely quick compared to some cheap flash drives I have used in the past.
Problems
So far I have had no major problems other than in windows vista it is not capable of running ReadyBoost which a free flash drive I had a while ago could.
Size
The overall size of the flash drive is quiet good the USB connector slides in and out with a rather flimsy press and slide switch.
Feel
The Kingston feels rather cheap and plastic considering the price I paid for it anyway.
Over all this is not a bad...

Toshiba U3 USB Flash Drive 4Gb
Advantages: U3 support
Disadvantages: Intrusive programme everytime you plug it into a computer
...The Toshiba U3 flash drive provides a versatile way to store your memory. It comes in 4 sizes - 512Mb, 1Gb, 2Gb and 4Gb. It supports U3 and allows the user to install programmes on the USB drive, and then run it on the computer directly.
--- the BASICS ---
The Toshiba U3 flash drive is shaped as a normal USB drive - long and thin. It has a cap to cover the opening of the USB port. The cap is connected to the main part by a small string which comes with the drive. Other than that the drive has no other parts.
The storage provided by the drive shows up as 3.79Gb. This is because 4Gb is actually 4,000,000 bytes. When divided by 1024 twice (into Kb and Mb) it is actually just 3.79Gb. Furthermore even more space is used up - this is illustrated by the fact that when the user plugs into the computer, it shows up as 2 drives - the removable...

The New Revolution In the Memory Medium!
Advantages: Ultra portable, light weight, cheap now, small, large memory options, tough, look smart, and many more...
Disadvantages: None as of yet...
...This is actually more of an overview of pen drives in general, as you'll find if you own more than one that the only difference is the shape and size. As I have had a comment on how this review is written, so it is an overview rather than a specific one. Thanks, and enjoy!
USB pen drives are the new revolution, they are far better than any other type of storage medium available as they are very simple, cheap now, and small. In this review I will tell you about the different things that you can do with a pen drive, and how much better they are than CD?s Floppies and Zip drives.
Memory and Capacity
=
The memory of a USB pen drive is all down to which one you buy. I have a 64mb drive, as I only need it for word files, etc. But you can get them in sizes in excess of 2GB; this in my opinion is pretty pointless as you...

Durable and Super-fast USB flash drive
Advantages: Water-proof, Shock-proof, 150x data transfer rate
Disadvantages: None
...If you want to invest in a durable and super-fast USB flash drive, then you will do well to invest in a Patriot Xporter USB flash drive. I needed to upgrade from my previous USB flash drive firstly because I needed to have more memory. Most importantly however, I wanted to make sure I bought a USB flash drive that could be tough enough to withstand regular usage for many years. This is because I know friends and colleagues who have used cheaper USB flash drives and many of them suffered because of this. Cheap USB flash drives can get easily broken, bent, or they just simply pack up altogether for no good reason. I did not want to experience any of these mishaps for myself. So although it was tempting for me to get a 4GB flash drive online for a fiver, I decided to purchase the Patriot Xporter for a bit extra.
Yes, it does cost a bit...
