...This is a USB flash drive produced by Victorinox, makers of the Swiss Army knife. The design is basically a USB Swiss Army knife without the knife and accessories. The outer case is made of durable aluminium rather than the more traditional red plastic. The design is nice and much better than a lot of other flash drives, however I think i prefer the more iconic red plastic version. The drive is about 6 cm long, just over 1 cm wide and just under 1 cm high. The USB stick is clear plastic allowing you to see the circuit board inside, while the USB plug is gold coloured. The stick flips out of the case when in use and is held in place by a clip at the keyring end when being carried. ...I bought this pen drive when I came across a website that I found on google by accident. They were selling it in their sale for £14.99. So I though that I would give it a try. It cam in the post, and I opened the bag that it came in, and I was shocked by the size of the pen. It was the smallest pen that I had ever seen. I was worried at first because it is so small that it would be easy to lose it, and I thought that I would very quickly. Although there is a hole at the end where you can put a clip through so you can attach it to something, i.e. around you neck, on a key ring, etc. It has a lid to keep the USB connection clean and so that it can not be broken. Looks - 3/10 When I first saw this stick in the sealed cover, I thought "Jeez! This thing looks really flashy and cheap!". After a few days of usage, I still hold the same view. The whole body of the drive is made of cheap plastic. On the front surface, it has a shining, flickering flashy coloured surface. When in the port, the stick's butt flickers with an orange light. The V60, in no way, goes well with my sleek, black laptop ( I guess it was basically my fault that I bought it...*sigh*...but do read on to get an exhaustive view of this stick). ...Lexar JumpDrive Secure ll is a USB flash drive with a good 512mb storage capacity. It boasts plug-and play functionality, allowing you to pop it into any usb drive on a mac, pc or server and drag and drop files 'to and fro' as desired. (Ease of access depends on the o/s you have installed, i use both OSX10 and vista, both work great!) Now 512mb isn't exactly the king as storages spaces go (you can get upto 8gb now!!!) but its perfect if you only transfer the smaller files such as word docs, the odd song or two. If you are moving larges directories then this isn't for you and would recommend you look at the size of file/directory you have and purchase accordingly. Perfect for the school/college user and you can pick them up for around £5.00 give or take a penny or two, so it is hardly a wallet burner. Lexar is a well trusted... Read review

...As a rule I try not to carry my laptop around with me, opting instead to transport files the easy way using USB flash drives, of which I have 3 due to the size of the files I have to load and upload. My first encounter with a flash drives came with the expensive yet disappointing Lexar and over the years I've steadily moved from one to another gradually increasing the memory size as the size of files seems to spiral out of all proportion! I paid just £65.99 for the Corsair Flash Voyager USB flash drive from our IT supplier and with a 32 GB memory I had anticipated it being my final purchase of a flash drive for a considerable period of time. ...Firstly this USB drive is quite small, it looks good and as soon as you plug it in a big orange light starts up, it doesn’t have a cap (so you won't lose the cap!) and comes with a neck strap. The USB data transfer is quite fast, there is not much lag and the computer immediately picks up that the USB stick is plugged in. However as soon as you plug in the stick then it starts to install the U3 software on the PC, this could annoy some people but the software is very useful. You can download many free portable ap’s and can synchronise the USB with the PC using this, its a useful feature and also includes some security features, preventing nosey people looking through your files.
