Belkin Wireless USB adaptor

firewire cable

Advantages: transfer speed over usb
Disadvantages: u have to make sure u have the right pin combinations

...are going to trasnfer any video to a computer its firewire all the way, it trasnfers at 480mbs which is great quality, as oppose to usb.1.0 that is 11mbs, the quality you will get , both sound and video, is amazing in comparison. the only trouble you may have is matching the pin sizes to you firewire card and you dv camera. the standard dv size is 4 pin to 6 pin, but on a laptop, the firewire cable you are likely to need is 4 pin to 4 pin, as the laptop has a 4 pin firewire socket in it. it is always best to check which ports you need , otherwise you will be stuck with a none fitting cable. so overal firewire is a great product, this cable was fast and relible and i would very much reccomend it at such a low price. : ) danny...

I actually didn't consider really the brand name as I had never really heard of Treakstor before and wasn't one hundred percent sure if they were reliable. ...I recently bought a Belkin wireless adaptor when I went into a house share and needed to have the internet. I use the internet but I know little about the technical side of things. I paid £19.99 for the adaptor in PC world who only had Belkin at the time which I thought was not expensive. However installing it was a nightmare. The 3 easy steps on the box seemed so easy; Install the software, plug the adaptor into a USB PORT - start networking! If only it was that simple. Every time my computer searched for a network it crashed. I phoned the Belkin company who took me step by step through the technical part and still we could not get internet. Eventually the Belkin assistant told my for some reason my computer was not recognising the new network. Being increasingly frustrated I considered taking the adaptor back for a refund...

So to receive this present of a Belkin USB portable lamp was an utter miracle from on high!!! Although at the time I opened the wrapping I didn't really realise how useful this could be to me and how much I would depend upon it. What this consists of is a basically a LED bulb that can be swivelled at all different types of angles with basically a clip that allows you to position it at any position on the edge of the Laptop screen. Great Belkin USB product

Advantages: gives you an extra 1.8 meters on any USB product

...that could connect my headset to the computer and let me use it, and this is what I did. I trudged down to my local PC world and paid a little money for a 1.8 meter Belkin Pro Series USB Extension Cable and was very very happy with it when I got home. It is very well made with a nice thick rubber protective rapping over the wire inside so unless you cut it with a knife its not going to be damaged if you full on it a little or even a allot. It supports all standard USB ports with its well made male plug (the bit that goes into the computer) and on the other end of the cable has a nice thick female port (the bit that you will stick your USB device in) I have had no problems with this cable at all, it doesn't suffer from any lag and because it has a thick cable it doesn't snap or damage if you catch it with you feet while its laying...
