Advantages: looks funky, good for younger people
Disadvantages: comes at a price

...It and it saves storage space too is you do decide to uninstall it. This one is the 4gb version so it can hold quite a lot of data, photos and whatever you want to store on it really. The transfer speed is really quick too, as you would expect this from a sandisk flash drive and the average price you should be expected to pay for one of these is about £20, so a little more expensive that the usual 4gb flash drives. It may be more expensive but it does look better, I think In buying a flash drive I wouldn't bother getting one of these, however I would get this as a present for someone younger as I think it would be an incentive for them not to loose it and take more care of it.... These drives are in the affordability range of almost all users. This drive is very compact. It support USB 2.0 as well. It is compatible with almost every operating system including Windows Vista. ...I bought this product from play.com for £17.99 which i think was a bargain. It's so small and light. Fantastic for transferring my coursework from home to uni and vice versa. Only problem is because it's so small, it gets lost at the bottom of my bag and i worry i've lost it totally! As for the memory size, 4GB is excellent! I bought it to back up some movies, pictures and songs from my computer, and it's great given its small physical size. I found that with my old USB memory stick, i kept misplacing the cap which inevitably damaged the memory stick. The great thing about this flash drive is that it doesn't have a cap, the USB bit is retractable instead! Installation was very straightforward and fast, practically all automatic. It's got a wierd U3 application that i'm just getting to grips with as i've never come across... Read review

...-----| Reason for buying |----- I bought this as an upgrade from my 1GB stick, as i required more space and a more reliable stick, my old one used to corrupt my files. The price was also very attractive for its size, £17.99 for a 4GB USB stick was exceptional when I bought it around 4 or 5 months ago. -----| What I have used it for |----- I used this throughout my studies at school, it was in constant use, exchagning data to and from it numerous times a day. Each transfer was fast, due to it being USB 2.0, and with no corruptions or file loss. I have also used it to transport mp3 files, movies, and game files (very large files basically, upwards of 2GB) and it did this perfectly. -----| Pros |----- Very large even by todays standards, large enough to transport any media type, and lots of it.
