In Kingston town.. the place I long to USB
Review of Kingston DataTraveler 100 - USB flash drive - 4 GB by  1st2thebar

Advantages: 4 GB of data storage
Disadvantages: lacks innovation in design

...new heights - The 4.34 Bn dollar sales is the highest attained in its 20-year history - -I welcome you to the Data Traveler 100 USB Flash Drive 4 GB (DT100) - What is an USB? - USB - Stands for Universal Serial Bus - This is a standard port for computer components to be connected using a single standardised interface socket. Every computer has these ports to improve plug-and-play capabilities by allowing devices to be connected and disconnected without restarting the computer, therefore saving time and losing any information through the rebooting process. USB ports are used by external devices such as digital camera's, printers, hubs, extra storage/CD/DVD drives etc. - The portable USB Flash Drive 4GB - The external portable drive is also known as a key or a stick as seen above in the title. To USB, or not to USB?
Review of Dane-Elec zMate Pen USB2.0 Nacre - USB flash drive - 256 MB by  DaC_87

Advantages: Cheap, easy to use, transportable.
Disadvantages: A little on the chunky side, space an issue

..., the pen drive looks rather pod-like, oval rounded with no sharp edges, certainly a lot nicer lookin than other pen drives I've seen. A black stripe separates the two parts, and divides the drive into two, which is quite classy. With the cap offthe USB connector is revealed and also a little transparant plastic, which shows off the rather authentic-and-reassuring-looking circuit boards inside. Upon the other end of the stick is a tiny little Key-ring fastener. As this is only 0.5cm in diameter, I wouldn't put anything into that key ring, rather, put that key-ring into another, if you get my drift. Performance. Now, if you're a stickler for grammar, a copy-editor at heart or just a careful reader, you may been perplexed by my inverted commas around the term "capacity" in the previous paragraph. No mistake on my part there; as the 256mb figure... Read review

**512MB memory all on a stick**
Review of Dell USB Memory Key USB flash drive - 512 MB by  1st2thebar

Advantages: A lot of memory 512MB worth
Disadvantages: It can get lost in a brief case

...**DELL USB MEMORY STICK** -- USB Flash Drive 512 MB -- - Dell - Dell is now the 25th most wealthiest corporation in the US. Why Dell has done so well is due to the smaller component sales -- such as the USB Flash Drive memory keys, among many other computer components. That is a digital USB device. Dell was founded by Michael Dell in 1984 and was originally named 'PC limited'. At that time IBM was the main specialists in computer products and components worldwide. Michael learn't his trade by using IBM mainframe computers on processing speeds of only 2MHz. A 'MHz' is a tiny fraction of the kind of processor speeds that are in the market today. Dell's visionary could see beyond the systems he worked with and wanted to find away to quicken up data processing and so got to work on building a prototype. In 1985 he managed... Read review

The Power In The Pocket Just Gets Bigger
Review of Disgo USB Key Chain Personal Storage by  Pentium

Advantages: More space than a CD Re-writable
Disadvantages: None found

...I wrote this op originally in my old account of suthy25 but seeing as I closed that account down so therefore can’t update it then I thought I would re-write it here. There have been many enhancements to the Disgo key since I first wrote this op, which include higher capacity, cheaper prices and the release of a USB 2.0 version. The first thing I need to say is about the USB (Universal Serial Bus) connection. This is a small slot found on your computer (usually at the back where the keyboard and mouse leads fit) that should be on every computer made after 1998. Until recently the version of USB used was USB 1.1 that could transfer information at a speed of 12mbps (megabytes per second). Recently the USB 2.0 was released and with it came new heights of file transfer speed. This can transfer information at a staggering 120mbps, yes... Read review

Review of Dell USB Memory Key USB flash drive - 128 MB by  1st2thebar

Advantages: stores all types of files for transit

>Not alot to Dell've into here<
Review of Dell USB Memory Key USB flash drive - 128 MB by  1st2thebar

Advantages: small storage - and portable
Disadvantages: best only for text data files

...**DELL USB MEMORY KEY FLASH DRIVE** Ciao review -20/02/2008 -- USB Flash Drive 128MB -- # Dell introduction # Dell was founded by Michael Dell in the summer of 1984 and was originally named 'PC limited'. Dell was recognised as one of the first pioneers within this new model of business practice. The only competitors they had was IBM, and IBM was sole provider within this market. Then, the speeds were around 2k per processor. Mr. Dell wanted to find away to quicken up data processing and started work on harvesting a fanatic prototype; so in 1985, he managed it with a flabbergasting 8MHz processor speed. Michael was on his way to being a success in the US and has gone from strength to strength. Revenue 2006>> just over 56 Billion. # URL for Dell is # -www.dell.co.uk- # What is a USB? # USB - abreviation of Universal Serial... Read review

Amiable Amacom
Review of Amacom USB 2.0 Flash Key USB flash drive - 2 GB by  Zmugzy

Advantages: Handy eway to store portable data.
Disadvantages: A bit pricey

...I have used this flash key for mainly transferring JPG photos and word documents. It has proved to be an efficient and useful device. It appears to be a pretty robust piece of technology. USB (Universal Serial Bus) is now a fairly common standard port for desk top PCs and laptops. Most computers now have these ports to enable plug-and-play capacity. Various devices such as printers, scanners and cameras can be connected to these ports to transfer data. Memory keys are useful as a means of storing lots of text files for example, digital photos or Mp3 files. Although the Amacom USB2 Flash Drive has a capacity of 2GB, the amount of data you will actually be able to store on it will be slightly under 1GB. This is because all flash drives use up some of their memory capacity by the software already installed on them. It is this software... Read review

Belkin Wireless USB adaptor
Review of Belkin Wireless G USB Network Adapter Network adapter by  craggybuk

Advantages: Simple to set up and use
Disadvantages: Software is not the greatest

..., open up the Wireless software on your PC and select the encryption mode you are using and enter the pass key. I personally found the software that comes with the USB adapter to be less 'professional' than the software which came with the PCI card version. Saying that, it was still straightforward enough to complete this task with very little effort. --Useage-- I have had no problems with this adapter in all the time I have been using it. Occasionally the signal will drop down to a low level but it has never cut out completely. Once the initial setup has been done, there is no need to worry about the adapter, it will look after itself and connect to the router once it has been switched on. If you are experiencing a poor signal though, all you need do is to experiment by pu
