**128MB more memory for your money**
Review of Dell USB Memory Key USB flash drive - 128 MB by  1st2thebar

Advantages: stores all types of files for transit
Disadvantages: prompts are not so good

...on the drive (which is extra storage) the drive which the PC will identitify it as DRIVE E, or DRIVE F depending how many drives your computer is running simultaneously. What is also useful when you have no other USB ports available on your PC is to get an extended hub. Many older brands of PC do not have as many ports as newer PC models. Please note that 'No software installation' is required for the drive to be used. Files can be sent to and from the memory stick. - 128MB of Memory - The 128MB is the amount of space that the USB Drive has in storage capacity. The device will allow that amount of memory on the key/stick at one time. When the key/stick is full the file will be rejected from the drive and a prompt will state that their was not enough memory in the drive to complete the file transfer. I have several memory sticks that have... Read review

(very, very) Easy Disk Memory stick
Review of 128 MB Dabsvalue usb memory stick by  bad_bob00

Advantages: Excellent price - about 12p per megabyte, needs no drivers
Disadvantages: Need Windows XP

...I first saw the Dabs value Easy Disk memory stick when I was reading my latest Dabs Special Offers' email, and noticed that they were selling it for just £10. I jumped at the chance to own one, as did my brother. It was an amazing price to get 128MB of storage and on the Hi-Speed USB 2.0 format too. I really needed some kind of portable storage as I go to college a few days a week on a computing and electronics course, and I needed to be able to take some of the assignments home. My work totalled up to about 10 MB, and I hated using floppy disks as I found them so unreliable, often they would need re-formatting or they would just stop working, so I just gave up on them. As the college computers don't have CD drive burners, I decided I would have to make the most out of the USB ports that they do offer. I realised by purchasing a USB... Read review

>Not alot to Dell've into here<
Review of Dell USB Memory Key USB flash drive - 128 MB by  1st2thebar

Advantages: small storage - and portable
Disadvantages: best only for text data files

...**DELL USB MEMORY KEY FLASH DRIVE** Ciao review -20/02/2008 -- USB Flash Drive 128MB -- # Dell introduction # Dell was founded by Michael Dell in the summer of 1984 and was originally named 'PC limited'. Dell was recognised as one of the first pioneers within this new model of business practice. The only competitors they had was IBM, and IBM was sole provider within this market. Then, the speeds were around 2k per processor. Mr. Dell wanted to find away to quicken up data processing and started work on harvesting a fanatic prototype; so in 1985, he managed it with a flabbergasting 8MHz processor speed. Michael was on his way to being a success in the US and has gone from strength to strength. Revenue 2006>> just over 56 Billion. # URL for Dell is # -www.dell.co.uk- # What is a USB? # USB - abreviation of Universal Serial... Read review

**512MB memory all on a stick**
Review of Dell USB Memory Key USB flash drive - 512 MB by  1st2thebar

Advantages: A lot of memory 512MB worth
Disadvantages: It can get lost in a brief case

...**DELL USB MEMORY STICK** -- USB Flash Drive 512 MB -- - Dell - Dell is now the 25th most wealthiest corporation in the US. Why Dell has done so well is due to the smaller component sales -- such as the USB Flash Drive memory keys, among many other computer components. That is a digital USB device. Dell was founded by Michael Dell in 1984 and was originally named 'PC limited'. At that time IBM was the main specialists in computer products and components worldwide. Michael learn't his trade by using IBM mainframe computers on processing speeds of only 2MHz. A 'MHz' is a tiny fraction of the kind of processor speeds that are in the market today. Dell's visionary could see beyond the systems he worked with and wanted to find away to quicken up data processing and so got to work on building a prototype. In 1985 he managed... Read review

A stick with 64MB of memory
Review of Dell USB Memory Stick USB flash drive - 64 MB by  1st2thebar

128Mb... Not worth it?
Review of Dane-Elec zMate Pen Jelly USB2.0 - USB flash drive - 128 MB by  jonahea

Advantages: Key chain ring
Disadvantages: So tiny!

...This pen drive is a bit old and to be honest not even worth looking at! Out there you WILL find better deals if you brought new it would cost you £12.49!!! The only thing I like about this is the handy key chain ring which means you can take it anyhere--- very helpful Im sure as whereever you go your keys follow! The downflaw is now with this is simply the size of the drive- its only 128MB and you can now buy them on the high street for £30 with a massive 8Gig (about 60 times larger!) Although it does look very cool and the swoop of the cap is a innovative design its purely not worth it! AND as its USB you dont need to install any sofware so thats an obvious plus when taking it from place to place... A very little and pointless device that purely just isnt worth it due to its poor memory! Why dont you buy one with more... Read review

Thanks for the memory
Review of Kingston DataTraveler I - USB flash drive - 2 GB by  Morgenhund

Advantages: Reliable
Disadvantages: none

...It is a sign of the times when you can't leave home without gigabytes of data in your pocket - I used to never have this kind of problem - now I tend to travel armed with a laptop or if I am going out "naked" at least a memory stick. Last year I bought a 1Gb USB memory stick to replace the 128Mb USB memory stick I had been using the previous couple of years. Clearly now I need to fight the "data" flab as I find that 1Gb is not big enough. People might question why I didn't go for a far bigger USB stick - 16Gb is the current highest size. Well I went for the 2Gb memory sticks because I bought in bulk and sent ones out to all my customers - it is easier for them to stick a memory stick in the post to me, with an encrypted/password protected zip file on it than to courier me a CD most of the time. On a bulk buy I paid EUR 8.50 per stick... Read review

The New Revolution In the Memory Medium!
Review of Corega USB Pocket Flash Drive USB flash drive - 64 MB by  Chazzer3

Advantages: Ultra portable, light weight, cheap now, small, large memory options, tough, look smart, and many more...
Disadvantages: None as of yet...

...are hardly ever going to fill 2GB unless you keep music and video files on it. This is great as the cost is slightly more than a CD or Floppy per/mb and this way is much simpler and easier to use. But as always with every electronic memory device the formatting removes a certain amount of memory, for instance with my memory pen, it is stated as 64mb and is only 62mb, but this makes absolutely no difference, (realistically), as there is hardly ever going to be a file that you need +/- 2mb extra space. Of course the larger your memory the more that is removed with formatting. Reliability This is the key feature of having a USB pen drive, the fact of how reliable it is compared with floppies and CDs as they can be scratched or bent, or magnetically challenged, (by which I mean they can break if you put them near magnets). Whereas... Read review

>Top Secret Security device - in a key!!<
Review of PNY Attaché Optima - USB flash drive - 8 GB by  1st2thebar

Advantages: vast amount of storage
Disadvantages: can be fiddly to activate quickly

..., the the Optima has an encryption program that makes it very difficult for unwarranted users to gain access to your valuable files. the drive comes complete with the "Carry It Easy" software - 128 bit AES encryption will protect your data whilst synchronising your internet favourites, data and mail box. This is something for the UK's Home Office I feel. Still an impressive 7.2cm long; perfect to fit onto your key-ring without it sticking out like a sore thumb. The adjustable swivel motion is unique to all PNY products; and they are leading by example; this along with a 24MB/s quick driver reaction speed, it's a quick starter when transferring files via USB 2.0. Please note - The Attache Optima caters for just the 4GB and the 8GB so far on the memory drives available at your local retailler; more devices are planned for mid 2008. What is 8GB... Read review

Oracom ORC 200 128 MB MP3/Memory Stick
Review of Oracom ORC-200 256 MB by  JaYmEZ

Advantages: Great size, portability, and ruggedness
Disadvantages: See review.

...Oracom ORC-200 128MB MP3 (MP3 only) Player www.oracom.co.kr INTRODUCTION: Firstly this is a MP3 player with 128 MB onboard (non expandable) memory. In essence the music on your computer encoded using MPEG Layer 3 (MP3) encoding can be taken off your computer hard drive and onto this little device where you can listen to them as if it was a cd player or cassette player etc. I was first looking for a present for a friend of mine when I cam across these, and thought what a great idea! Being a fraction of the size of a bulky and outdated (but much loved) cassette player and being more portable than a rather fragile and still expensive personal CD player. So I decided to look into them a little bit more, this was about 10 months ago, so this review is based on my experience using this over that period of time... Read review
