Logitech Optical MX310 USB mouse.
Advantages: Great reliable and perfect laptop /desktop buddy.
Disadvantages: Conflicts with one piece of 3rd party software. - explained later.
...wireless keyboard/ mice to web cams and beyond!
THE PACKAGE :
=
From the pic below you can see the packaging, nothing special, it?s what?s inside that we want!
So you get the MX310 optical mouse, a cute little cd with the latest version of "mouseware" - the software used to run this mouse. Although you can use it as simple plug and play without installing drivers etc on Windows 98, 2000, Me and XP. However only basic features like movement, left and right click and scroll are used, the additional buttons in the middle of the mouse on each side are disabled.
You also get a USB to PS2 ( old styled mouse / keyboard connection ) so you can use it in a PS2 port instead of USB if this is needed, pretty neat and very handy at times! It comes in a lovely bright green so you can?t miss it !

Genius Wireless USB Keyboard and Optical Mouse
Advantages: Wireless, Relativly cheap, Durable, Initially get rechargeable batteries
Disadvantages: Need to eventually buy new batteries, Problems with low power.
...essential in all modern mice. It has an optical laser so can be used on any surface.
Both the keyboard and the mouse are wireless and their signal is picked up by a smart receiver come battery charger. The feature of being wireless is great for people who use spaces for multiple purposes such as a written work/study area as well as for using a PC. It plugs into a standard USB A slot. The box comes with 6 rechargeable AA batteries, user manual and a driver CD.
The rechargeable batteries are a great addition to the pack however I found after a few months of use they did not hold the charge as well and did not last. This means eventually you will be using regular batteries which is obviously more expensive than using wired keyboard and mouse equivalents.
When the battery power in either the mouse or keyboard gets low it can lead to...

Logitech Optical Mouse RX250
Advantages: good all round mouse
Disadvantages: none
...Logitech Optical Mouse RX250
Logitech are quite well known for making mainly gaming devices to go into various platforms as well as making keyboards, speakers and mouse's for pc's and laptops.
They do specialize a little in gaming mouse's for laptops however this mouse could really just be used for anything.
Because this mouse is a cool white colour, it doesn't only look modern but it could also go very well with a mac computer if you have one as it would be a lot cheaper and id say better then a mac mouse is. If you don't however this still goes into your laptop and your computer with no trouble and looks pretty cool too.
The mouse feels smooth to the touch and it also quite small and fits perfectly into the palm of your hand. Its east to move around and it very precise too.
Its an optical mouse which I thinks important these...

Labtec mini optical mouse. Excellent mouse that glows in the Dark
Advantages: Good build quality, Accurate and responsive, coloured lights look good
Disadvantages: None
...This is a review of the Labtec mini optical glow mouse.
Introduction
Most of my online work is done on my laptop computer, but I cannot get along with the built in touch-pad and decided to use a mouse instead, after trying the normal sized mouse borrowed from my desk-top PC, I found that it was too big for the available space that I had, so I bought a mini mouse which was ideal.
After using and breaking several unbranded mini mice bought cheaply from my local computer supplies shop I decided to see what was available on line, and after seeing the Labtec mini optical glow mouse, and read some positive reviews on it, I ordered one.
What is it?
The Labtec mini optical glow mouse is a small wired optical mouse with a USB connector, it is designed for use with laptops and notebook PC?s.
The cable
The cable...

My little mouse friend
Advantages: Buttons galore, responsiveness
Disadvantages: A little hyper sensitive
...As I currently use a laptop at home I'm not actually much of a user of mice, however at work I do get to use a PC and a mouse (though in some limited capacity) so whilst sat down at work I decided to review the mouse I was using, as it seemed a rather unique one.
As it's been a while since I really used mouses (or is it still mice?) the first thing I noticed was that is was neutered, this mouse (like many now a days I suppose) had no ball, it was an optical one with a red light instead of a ball. I assume work get these as people knick mice balls for some reason, a weird fetish perhaps.
This was the first of a series of changes from what I was used to, the most obvious when touching it was just how long it was, the mouse seemed like it was on some sort of growth hormone and had grown an extra inch or two, perhaps it had been a lab...

My Minnie Mouse - Belkin miniscroller Rechargeable Optical Mouse
Advantages: Easy to set up, lifetime warranty, rechargeable and cheap
Disadvantages: rather too small for comfort
...Belkin Mini scroller rechargeable optical mouse
I bought this little mouse to use with my laptop as sometimes i find the touch pad thingie on the laptop makes my hand ache. I think ii only paid about £8 for it on sale in a bargain shop so I felt it was worth a try.
UNPACKING AND SETTING UP:
It comes in quite a large box about the size of four paperback books but most of this is packing. The box contents were: the mouse, small manual (paper not CD Rom), rechargeable batteries and a recharging cable. It took minutes to unpack and open the mini guide to read instructions for setting it up.
Step 1. Open mouse and put in the rechargeable batteries as per diagram
Step 2. Charge batteries for 10 hours through the USB connector into
computer/laptop ? So you can?t use it straight away in fact ? it states that it only takes about 4 hours...

Logitech optical mouse
Advantages: Nice tracking performance
Disadvantages: None so far
...Logitech is always pioneer in making valuable and reliable products,i already have its gaming-mu;ltimedia keyboards which works best and make my work easier.Logitech RX250 Optical Mouse, have a classic design, shine white in color with three buttons left button, right button and middle small scroll button which you can press. Its optical tracking performance never gives you any mouse jerk like you had with ball mouse, very light and well adjusted in palm giving very cofortable gripping.
Installation is quite easy open up the packet attach the usb and viola, you are ready to play with it.Nice tracking speed with good material.
The best optical mouse to use in gaming and animation field, very cheap and easy to install....

optical mouse, the future
Advantages: cheap, reliable
Disadvantages: large, not good looking
...When it comes to mouse’s, there all pretty much the same, except for of course optical or the ones with little ball bearings in them.
However most mouse’s do handle the same, and there is little that can really be changed to a mouse, the size, shape and colour can be changed as can the buttons it has, however sometimes altering these just makes it too snazzy and people cant understand them.
I bought this from Argos quite a while ago, and its one of my mouse’s that I use a lot. However one annoying thing about it is its size, and because I have a laptop, I don’t like to take this around with me due to it being too large and not fitting in my bag.
This actually cost me £5.47, which is pretty reasonable, especially for Argos, but I do think it was in some kind of sale.
Ok so its not the best looking...

Labtec Wireless Optical Mouse.
Advantages: No more wires.
Disadvantages: Eats the batteries.
...I got my wireless mouse last year as a christmas gift,
It came complete with mouse, receiver, batteries and C.D. software.
Installing the software is simple and takes just a matter of minutes, the C.D. guides you step by step and is so easy you cant go wrong.
Set up was very easy....the reciever has a 1 metre cable which plugs into the USB port,
the reciever itself is slightly smaller than the mouse and is placed on your desktop.
The mouse takes 2 AA batteries and fits nicely into the palm of your hand and has 3 button control........left click ,right click and middle click for manual or automatic scrolling.
Being wireless this free's your desktop from the clutter of cords, enabling you to move the mouse more freely without being restricted.
The mouse works accurately and reliably 1 metre away from the receiver...

AN EXCELLENT OPTICAL MOUSE
Advantages: Great response, no ball to get dirty, wheel is invaluable
Disadvantages: A bit on the pricey side
...mats go ? there are some excellent deigns out there!) One point to remember, however, is that the mouse doesn?t work on shiny or glossy surface.
The mouse is fine for both right and left handed users; in fact I actually trained myself to use the mouse in my left hand with the Microsoft Wheel Mouse Optical. This is so that I have my right hand free to write things down (this is actually very useful when you need to take down notes from a web site, for example).
The mouse can connect to the standard PS/2 socket, and it also has a USB connection if you would prefer. One thing I should mention at this point is that if you use the PS/2 connection then the bright red light that is part of the optical sensor stays on all of the time, even if your computer is shut down. This can be annoying if you?re computer is in the same room that you...
