With more and more laptops not posessing floppy disk drives, USB mass storage has become the only way to transport documents, music and pictures around, safely quickly and easily. ...I recently purchased this usb pen from a local computer retailer, in need of an alternative to a floppy disk i decided to take advantage of the technology i purchased this. I felt it was fantastic buy as i was stunned to how much simpler, faster and more efficient it is to carry around my school work on. To start up i immediatly pulled out the back on my computer and plugged in the USB extention lead, and placed the other end on my desk, this was quite tedious however luckily it only needed to be done once. Once i had places the extention lead on my desk then it was fine and has been for the last few weeks, i just remove and add my pen to it as i please. Usually when i install new hardware i expect to be waiting a long time over the installation and drivers, however with this one, the first time i plugged it in WinXP immediatly... Read review

...Tired of all of them floppy disk's, sick of burning loads of cd's all the time, well now theres a cheap and superfast method of storing large amounts of data onto something that fits on to your key ring. It is the pen drive. I just recently bought the 64Mb version from memorx in Belfast, northern ireland for £22 odds compared to the same size in Pc world for arrounds £40 so i think i got a good deal. When i got home i checked it out to see the sppeed of coping files to and from the pen drive, i copied 2 megabites in a few seconds, it works so fast because it works throught the USB port in your computer, usually located in teh front of your tower in most new computers. There are a number of storage sizes to choose from (64mb to 1GB) with ranging prices. I just found a 128Mb on the net for £30 which i thought was quite good... Read review

...I have this pen drive and to be honest its getting a bit old but who cares?! Iv had it for about 18 months and it still works perfectly! Back then 2gb memory was quite a big deal even now its more than I need :D Im sure out there you will find better deals if you brought new though the thing I like is the handy key chain ring which reans I can take it anywhere with me--- very helpful as why I am so am my keys! The downflaw is now with the advancements in technology the speed of data trandfer on this isnt very good! Its not a massive fact for me as I really onlu use it for school work etc but in a business its just not practicle! As its USB you dont need to install any sofware so thats a plus when taking it from place to place...A great little device that served me well... worth a lot second hand a £7 Bargain!... Read review

...I actually don't know what to call this, I know people who call them pen drives, some that call them usb sticks, usb flash drives... the list goes on, but whatever you call them, I own a few different ones, and this is probably my favourite because of it's looks, but the most annoying because of what it does... Let's start with the looks. It's a small design, and as you can see is pretty modern and stylish! It does feel very durable, and I have dropped it several times and no damage has been done. There's a slider on the usb pen that is easily slid from one side to another, this of course 'ejects' the usb from it's shell so you can simply put it in to the usb port. How easy is it to use? I found it very easy to set up and use, first I plugged the connector lead into a spare USB socket on the back of my PC, then I plugged the other end into the USB hub. The next step was to plug the transformer into the mains and the corresponding pin into the socket on the USB hub. What can it be used for?
