...Well isn't this a nifty little device? Doesn't it get annoying when you don't have enough space to plug in more PS/2 devices to your PC? PS/2 is becoming obsolete now and sometimes you will get computers without ports for them, including one of my laptops. Another problem with PS/2 ports are that they are always hard to get to; not only will you never find one on a frontal port section (on the front of a PC case) but at the back they are always buried under wires! Also, people with less knowledge about computers would be unlikely to know what a PS/2 port looks like, but will probably know what a USB port looks like! Anyway, I was getting annoyed at my latest laptop for not having any PS/2 ports, since I was planning to use it for gaming and my favourite keyboard and mouse for gaming are both USB. Advantages: Looks great, great capabilites, play DVDs etc.
Disadvantages: Price Tag, not many great games yet...

...is that Sega have just ditched the dremcast and are now making PS2 games, so expect games such as Crazy Taxi very soon! Although there are not masses of games to choose from yet, there are loads in development and more and more are being released all the time. Three games i can't wait to play are Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty, Gran Turismo 3 - A-spec. (previously Gran Turismo 2000) and Red Faction. In my opinion the best game available now are SSX and TimeSplitters (yes I have both :p). The sound capabilities are amazing too, I have my PS2 hooked up to my surround sound stereo, with seperate sub-woofer (sorry, I had to brag bout that) and it sounds fantastic, especially when playing a DVD. Advantages: The definitive multiplayer FPS.. now on your favourite console

The single-player action in this game makes it worth buying, but it is of course in the multi-player where things shine. And there are just so many ways to go. ..., patches, cheats … etc. Adding to the longevity of your games. The modem itself means you will be able to not only be able to access the internet but will allow you to compete online. The PS2 also has USB ports allowing you to use certain PC peripherals such as a mouse. This has also lead to the announcement of not only a mouse and keyboard being available but also possibly digital cameras, printers and its own LCD monitor…that’s right, this shows the great potential of the PS2. “So why should you buy the PS2 with announcements of the Microsoft’s X-box and Nintendo’s Gamecube?”…. ...Station two ( or PStwo )as it is now called is even easier to use than its bigger brother it features a built in I/R reciever for the DVD remote but they have done away with the ilink port which had no function on the old console.
