...i got one of these because i didn't want wires everywhere in our house. when i first put it in it wouldn'tt connect up to my wireless router(linksys). i called up a help line and they said that they had no idea how to fix it so i ended up having to buy a new one (netgear). with this it works well most of them time but if it doesn't always work. i think that may be down to the router but it may be the adapter. anyway it works most the time pretty well. i think it is ridiculously over priced thought. When i got it it was £60. but i needed it because i didn't want a load of wires around the house. i thnk they are fairly good and work most of the time but are over priced....

Windows detected the adapter and the headaches began. Firstly, the stand is not heavy enough to hold the adapter upright, I have now stuck mine to the desk with blu-tac. Secondly, the software was indicating that no network could be found. In order for the adapter to detect the router and the network I had to plug the router back into the extension cable. This defeated the whole point of buying the adapter in the first place. Once this was done I followed the instructions for my router to switch over to a wireless connection, but that software could not find an internet connection. This in fairness was down to my own lack of knowledge as I had not set...
