...very easy to use, with an attractive user interface. There is an option to arrange your ipod play list on screen without the ipod plugged in, so it is ready to download as soon as you connect via the usb interface. The lack of display doesn't bother me, but if you want to be able to select your tracks and see what is coming next, you should probably save up for the new Ipod Nano....

Laser printer - sleek and stylish

Advantages: Visual appearance

...This HP LaserJet is a life-sver for anyone who has lots of work and works form home or students. It has a print speed of 16 pages per minute and has a USB interface. Also, it an input tray that can hold up to 150 sheets of paper at a time. It's monthly duty cycle is 5000 pages and it comes with an 8Mb installed RAM and 266MHz processor. The printer also comes wiht a black toner cartridge. This printer is stylish so looks very appealing whilst still being able to have many features to do the job properly. I have been using this printer to print out my coursework for the last year for school and it has never ocne jammed or stopped wokring. Just incas ti does, it comes with a 1 year warranty. =]...

Great Imaging

Advantages: Clarity of Images, Good lens , Great shutter speed
Disadvantages: Heavy , Buttons are not well arranged, average battery

.... With the combination of the new sensor and image processor it offers a good noise reduction and great performance. The menu system is stylish and easy to navigate. High performance vertical traverse shutter. But the button placement is a bit cumbersome. When the USB interface is set to PTP mode it supports direct printing without a computer to Pictbridge compatible photo printers. It focuses faster at all image levels with minimal delays. The auto focusing system uses AF sensors two each horizontal and vertical line sensors. The Image stabilization has been improved a lot and seem to offer three stops of stabilization. The defects i found was Its massive brick like and complex its much heavier and larger. All in all I'm very impressed by it....

...Wot no mouse mat? No mat is required for this mouse. It works by using light instead of a trackball. This means it will work on most surfaces and is supposed to have a greater response than a standard mouse. It is kitted out in a tasteful grey colour with the usual 2 buttons and a wheel. There are also 2 further programmable buttons for use with the thumb. Word of warning. This is a right-hand mouse. Not suitable for left handed use. Not many games yet support the extra 2 buttons, but they can be programmed for use in Windows itself. The mouse has a USB interface (or PS/2 if you prefer)and a little light at the tail end, handy for use in the dark....

M-Audio Fast Track Pro - Great for working with audio on a budget

Disadvantages: limited ins and outs, not a lot of leeway for input levels

I originally bought mine as my very first audio/usb interface to use with my Macbook and Logic Pro when I first started university, 2 years ago. I am now in my final year, and have progressed up to using Pro Tools (M-powered, as this is the only version supported by the Fast Track Pro.) I have to date used the fast track pro to create semi-professional projects. The sound quality is, I have to say, very good for a £120 interface, although I have had problems attempting to get a decent input signal strength, especially when using the built in phantom power. However, the integrated phantom power is effective, even when the unit is powered solely by USB, although the option for mains power is available, though the adapter is not included in the box.
