...When I write a car review, I generally try to give as balanced an opinion as possible in regard to a cars? relative merits or failings. The problem I faced when sitting down to write this review of the new model Lexus LS430, from Japanese manufacturers Toyota, was to find ANYTHING bad, or even slightly negative, to say about it. I have a friend in the limousine business, which explains how I found myself invited along for the morning as he put one of these beauties through its paces on an extended test drive. To be driven in a car of this refinement and luxury is a rare experience, to be savoured and relived for months afterwards. This car is an upgraded version of the ?old? Lexus LS400. ...A great place for Soarer (lexus/Toyota Soarer / SC400) owners to exchange information on some of the most underrated cars ever made. The Soarer club is a font of information about mechanical, electrical, bodywork and all such aspects. You quickly get help from the regulars and its a great place to pick up parts in the unlikely event your Soarer goes wrong. I joined just before I bought my Soarer and actually bought it from a member on there. I find it much friendlier than comparative places in the UK. The members are friendly and there is no membership fee. Once registered, you have access to the variety of forums including General, Mechanical, Electrical, Bodywork, Ask the Members, Parts for Sale and Meetings and Events. There is a for sale section on the site where people can sell their Soarers which is well worth a look...

Lexus IS200 SE - Winner

Advantages: Looks, Engine, Specs

...either of those cars. This makes it more relaxing then them as well. Unlike most Lexus engines, the engine is supposed to be heard and has a refined growl to it and you do find yourself revving it hard just to hear that engine. It's beautiful. Sadly, outright performance doesn't quite match the sound, but if you are really a speed freak, get the 3 litre model. There's nothing to complain about with the ride and the handling either. Under-steer is non-existent and over-steer is easily controlled and never scary (unless you hit a patch of diesel half way round a wet roundabout that is) flattering even a driver like me! The tyres are quite low profile, but the ride, though firm, feels refined. The tyres are quite wide as well, so tram-lining can be a pain, but you do get used to it. I only seem to notice the car tram-lining when you are stuck...

Veet Ready To Use Wax Strips - Not such a Perfect Finish!

...Hi... Thought I'd share my (very recent) experience of Veet Ready To Use Wax Strips. Just to make clear now, the strips I used were part of the pink Complete Body Kit, consisting of 20 leg strips, 12 bikini/underarm strips, and 4 Perfect Finish wipes, and claiming to be effective on hair as short as 2mm. I'm 17 years old, normal, and to be honest, quite an optimist, so this is the first almost negative review I've given anything. The 'satisfactory' was moved up from a 'poor' because I felt mean! Usually, I'd use Veet cream (works like magic, if you're wondering) , but as I was in Boots to stock up these caught my eye. They were on a discount, and I'd wanted to try waxing, so I thought I'd give it a go. They cost me around £4-5, which, believe it or not, was half price. Effective easy to use wax strips

...I find these ready to use wax strips the best on the market. I have tried several and these are definitely the best for me. I tend to use the one for sensitive skin, even though I don't have sensitive skin, just because I think it will hurt less! It does hurt a little when I wax but every time I do it, it gets easier. I must be de-sensitising! The strips contain vitamin E and Almon oil to moisturise your skin and I have never once known my skin to dry out after using them so I guess these ingredients do their job. There are 20 strips in a packet and 4 finishing wipes that are very oily but remove any waxy gubbins that are left on your skin. My favourite thing about these is the fact that you can use them on short hair so you don't have to turn into a gorilla before you can wax. On the downside, I find they always leave...

...No Use For A Name (or NUFAN for short) are a long-serving California punk band formed in the 1980s who released their first studio album, 'Icognito' in 1990. Now most of the people who have read one of my reviews before will know by now that sometimes I will review a band who ninenty-eight per cen tof you have never heard of in your life. I expect No Use For A Name to be one of these bands, as despite their long career and extensive music catalogue they have never really ventured outside America with any real intent. They play shows and promote music, but they do not recieve much exposure in the UK at all. I first heard of this group in my teens at school when I was much more loyal to this kind of music. (It is actually an American book, and the recommended retail price is £1.90.)
