The guides to the sights are thorough and the walking tours suggested give you some ideas of scale and practicalites before setting out on a long day sight-seeing. The descriptions of the castle and Charles' Bridge were particularaly useful, giving enough information and history that we did not need a guided tour. The directory at the back would be ideal in emergencies, as it gives medic, pharmacist and police numbers as well as travel and currency information. Although I found the book useful and the level of information about right, the guide is a little difficult to use. Grouping by geographical area rather than by catergories such as "Sights" may have been more user-friendly. All in all, a useful book which added a lot to our trip, once we got the hang of finding... Even the BBC that fount of all knowledge lacks complete advice on the subject of Viruses and in particular of the danger of malware and spyware. So here is my own personal attempt to put this right using my experience which I have learned through trial and error.
