...I've owned Epson printers for quite a few years now and my C42UX is one of my latest buys along with a C60 which i'll review too some other time. Ok the C42UX..... what do you get for your money?(£69 is what i paid)... well in the box you'll find the printer, of course, a power cable, a black and colour ink cartridge, a USB connecting cable, a selection of different paper, instuction manual and last but not least the software. The printer measures in at 16inches X 9.5 inches X 6.5 inches approx and is very light weight.. this printer is relatively small and is idea for home use taking up as little room as possible. It has a modern sleak look to it with 2 buttons situated on the top left.One button is the on/off switch the other is used as a bit of a multifuntional button.There is a paper feeder at the back of the machine... ...I have owned a qv2900ux for about 16 months and have been very impressed with the results. The main selling point of the camera when I bought it was its huge 32x zoom capabilities.This works out at 8x optical zoom and 4x digital zoom.Anyone who owns a digital camera knows that digital zoom is not all that impressive as it simply crops the image and enlarges it loosing a lot of picture quality. having said that the 8x optical zoom has been very usefull and more than you could hope to find on a camera of this size and of a very good quality.I have also used it in conjunction with the digital zoom and surprisingly the results were still quite impressiveup to about 16x overall zoom.The 32x setting did start to loose clarity but it is stil surprisingly usefull at this setting if you are prepared to accept the snapshot quality of the images... ...I just recieved my UX180P in the post yesterday and have been playing with it ever since, it's a fantastic little beastie! First off, I got it from the US as this device is not available in the UK yet, but is priced on Expansys for £1,599. So I bought it from Dynanmism.com, who were very helpful and considerably cheaper at £1034 excluding customs, which I haven't had to pay yet (I might get billed). It's a 1.2ghz intel core solo processor with 30GB HDD. It comes with Windows XP professional. The looks of this thing are amazing, it's got a bright 4.5 inch screen that slides up to reveal a very nice keyboard with little blue LEDS. The screen is very bright, although the desktop can look kind of small which is why there's a magnification button which also acts as a zoom in when you've got the camera function on. It...
