We have never had any preference to a particular make meaning we have tried 3Com, Creative and Logitech in the past. Now it was Microsoft's turn in the form of the Lifecam VX-3000. ...mainly HD you will never have a problem. This is where the TV shows its strengths. The HD performance is absolutely staggering. When I first loaded up Planet Earth on HD my jaw dropped. The detail was staggering. Even when compared to other models such as the W3000, the quality of HD is very hard to tell apart (Mainly because the W3000 is only really better at SD...but hundreds of pounds more expensive). The next great thing about the V3000 is the ease of use. In 30-40 minutes and guide or two I was good to go, with that jaw dropping HD. Some TVs can take hours to set up, so this is a breath of fresh air. Even the remote control is very simple. It is a little elongated for my massive hands but apart from that I love it. ...I recently decided to upgrade my aging Pace webcam and after looking at various models of new super dooper cams I plumped for the Microsoft Lifecam VX3000. Microsoft seem to dominate the world with products nowadays, however it is a name you can trust and generally you get a good quality product. This was true when I received the unit, it had a quality feel to it. Microsoft have various incarnations of their webcams ranging from the entry level VX1000 to the highly specced and highly priced VX6000, whilst I suppose you pay for what you get, i was pleasantly surprised at the quality of the images from the unit. After the installation of the drivers from the enclosed CD, it's a straight foward process, just plugging into a spare USB socket and windows recognises the device and loads the drivers for it. Motorola V3

Advantages: Slim - Will fit anywhere!
Disadvantages: Battery runs down quick!

...Style The phone is a great shape it can easily be kept in you pocket and its hardly noticeable. The buttons are flat which at first took abit of getting used to as all my previous phones had buttons that stuck out but they are really easy to use and I find they last alot longer too with regular buttons after a while and alot of use they start to become quite difficult to use. Also with all my other phones the numbers on the buttons used to wear away, that doesnt happen with the V3. Features The V3 does have alot of features however i think it could have more. Its got bluetooth,web access,everything you could to with your photos, video filming, games - billiards, golf and skipping stones and also all your basic features. I think next time though I will buy a phone with a fm radio or mp3 player as that comes in very handy...

Good all Rounder

Advantages: Good Value for money

...It may be a bit early to write a review since I've just got the 3000v but non the less they say first impressions count so here goes. My first reaction was the to the lightness of the body I've been a Cannon user for a number of years now and this has to be the lightest yet but underneath the lighfweight body lies somehi tech features. I have used anumber of Cannon's I own an old A1 and fell in love with the Eos 600 when I used it, fully featured and great autofocus. With the 3000v the autofocus is mindnumbingly fast in fact I swear it focuses quicker that I can. I considered the slightly more expensive Nikon F55 but was convinced that the multi point autofocusing would be a good feature. At this stage the jurys still out but I think it will be a usefull tool when photographing the kids on family outing or sports days...

My V3

Advantages: Easy to use and some nice features
Disadvantages: Battry life is not the best

...Over view I have had my V3 for 22 months now and it has been very reliable, it feels nice to hold and use and easy to fit in pocketswithout bulging. It is light and a nice colour (grey metal). The keyboard feels nice and is nicely illuminated when using. The display has a nice viewing area. I love my V3, it is still fashionable and up to date Keypad I love the keys on the V3 they are stylish and easy to use, your finger glides easily over them and easy to press the keys. The keys on the side of the phone often get pressed if the phone is in your pocket. Price I brought it as part of a deal, the phone was free and I got a free blue tooth ear peice which I vary rarely use - I was paying £20 per month for 6 months and now I pay £16 and get some free minutes and texts included. Battery The battery charges quite quickly...

Yamaha PSR 3000 - A One-man Orchestra..

My first instrument was a small Lowry Holiday followed by a small Hammond (great keyboard sound, but rotten base). In my twenties, I turned professional and purchased a small Yamaha with Leslie speaker - (a sort of spinning speaker inside a cabinet that produced a rich sound). Because of it's light weight for portability and reasonable prices compared to most other organs, I have stayed loyal to Yamaha ever since.
