Disadvantages: Not a vast improvement on the V525.

This, and the upgrade cost of that phone quickly persuaded me to change my mind. After a few more questions as to what I wanted from my new phone, he suggested the Motorola V550. This was an upgraded model of my existing handset, with a few new features and improved software. As I had been so happy with the V525, a deal was soon struck - and two days later my new phone arrived by courier... ...I find this phone to be a great motorola flip phone not only because of my upgrade from the V300 but the fact that the whole phone runs on the same prinicple. I am one of these people that hates reading through user manuals to find out how to turn things on. So I was chuffed to pieces when this phone came out with the same layout as the v300 but with better specs. I will go through some of the phone specifications and add my little notes next to them The Size of this phone is 89 x 49 x 25 mm, Fits into my jeans pocket fine and you can certainly feel it vibrating... The weight allow a little heavy is 110 g - Not to bad I suppose as I have this hanging around my neck. The Talk Time on this is anywhere up to 255 mins - Not sure on this personally as I have never timed it, but I can use it for 48 hours talking... Read review

Advantages: Compatible with newer 24pin motherboards and EPS12v Server boards, High wattage, Silent fan operation
Disadvantages: Needs adapter to use with 20pin motherboards,

...Upon upgrading my computer to an athlon MP system, i thought it would be a good idea to change my power supply for something a bit more powerful. When i looked up the specifications for this power supply at antec`s website, there was nothing i could fault. Looking into it further, i found that i would need a 24pin to 20pin adapter to use this on my motherboard. The handy thing is that although this isnt an ATX2.0 power supply, the 24pin pinout for the EPS12v ATX connector is 100% identical to the ATX2.0 24pin pinout. Another reason why i decided on this powersupply (so when i upgrade to dual opterons - this powersupply will be ample and will already provide the correct connectors). You can always tell the quality of a power supply by its weight, and these ones are heavy! Comparing it to my old Q-tec 400w power supply you would... Read review

Advantages: Easy to use, nice camera with sharp pictures

...Now has a lookalike which is great as I upgraded to the E550 a few months ago and everything that fitted my V300 now fits the E550. E550 Much is a much better model. The V300 Flip phone was my first mobile that had Real Ringtones and a Real Colour screen. I spent hours on this phone playing some gr8 Java games,.... Monopoly, Weakest Link, and even a Gambling Machine all of these I downloaded using Gprs It also gave me specialised Tones to go with certian people that would call, for instance I would have the "Crazy Frog" tone for my home phone and my husbands no. Then I had another ringtone for my son, which did always remind me of his energy. The Polyphonic ring tones were just as good and sounded brilliant. I even added photos to the phone nos by using the camera thats built in, the camera had a small but instant zoom... Read review

The weight (just over 600 pounds accessoried and wet) of this mid-size works for you on th highway, yet not so much against you in the parking lot., though in my view, Harleys - even though they are from 70 - 200 pounds heavier- handle better than any other cruiser at low speeds.
