...I went to my local grocery shop and in the drinks section i saw this vibrant green can which caught my attention it was 'V' an energy drink.I bought the can of 'V' and tried it, the taste of the drink was phenomenal.'V' was like no other energy drink i had tasted. The rich taste of 'V' comes from the properties of natural guarana, it says on the can that 'V' is extracted from the rich red berries of the Brazilian guarana plant,and i guess this is where the unique taste comes from. 'V' is different to other energy drinks that are out on the market. It compares well to the likes of Red bull, Red devil, Shark, Spiked silver etc which i have all tasted and i believe 'V' is better. The adverts - (They need a mention) ~~~~~~~~~~~ "It gives you wings". I think thats a great strapline, and everyone knows it, but those adverts are so annoying and unfunny. The original ones were based around German fairytales (e.g Rumplestiltskin, The frog Prince) but I don't think they can be tested on a British audience before screening (apparently the Germans do genuinely love them) but sense of humour can be quite culture specific. ...company apparently. If you are an athlete my advise would be to drink a bottle before the race so that it would give you a fast burst of energy for that event. But if you are doing an activity for the whole day then it would be best to drink little but often. The drink costs about 80 pence from most vending machines but expect to pay up to 90 pence when buying from a corner shop. The cheapest way of purchasing powerade is in a supermarket where I have found it for 69 pence. I think it is priced well, considering that for a small can of Red Bull or V it would set you back something ridiculous like £1.05 Overall this is a very good energy drink that I would recommend to any sportsman or athlete wanting a boost of energy for a reasonably low price.... ...V energy drink is my favourite out of all the energy drinks – I find it helps more than red bull and doesn’t have that sticky sweetness that other have. *****The Packaging***** V comes in a bright green can which you can't miss as the shade of green is just horrible. It is about the same size as a can of red bull and I have never seen it in a bottle . *****Where***** I have only seen this drink for sale in Sommerfield where it can be found with all the other drinks in a chiller cabinet.
