...I love this little mp3 player. I asked my boyfriend to get me an mp3 for xmas but told him that i didnt want an ipod as everyone seems to have them and i dont like the whole itunes thing. And he pulled this little baby out of the hat! I was so chuffed with it. Though infact originally he had bought me the 2gb Zen V (not the plus version) but the screen was a bit dodgy so we took it back to argos and then when looking on amazon the new plus version (it has radio and alarm and the ability to play videos which the normal one doesnt) with 4gb was £2 cheaper than the one her had got so i got that one. I was a little disappointed in a minor way as the 2gb ones are black and green (i am really into my green at the mo) and the 4gb are black and blue. ...Sound Quality Excellent Ease of Use Simple - too simple, needs a little more choices on the menu. Look & Design - looks like an average phone!, not very classy. Range of Features Excellent but....... Value for Money - depends on where and how you buy it really. Advantages: record fm radio, play videos, micro sd expnasion port. Disadvantages: will not handle Apple aac files which rules out 95% of my library. Expect to re-rip your cd's or convert aac to something the Iriver likes. Recommend to potential buyers: yes but...... ...I recently bought a Zen v plus 4gb from Amazon. It was only about £91. My husband has the Zen 20gb and loves it. The Zen v plus 4gb holds around 2,000 according to the box, I haven't filled it up yet, i've only put 140 tracks on. The small big button in the middle of the player easily navigates through the menus, then you have a back key and a pause/play key on the front. On the side of the player is the volumn control, record button, on/off/hold switch. At the top you have the USB input slot and the line in. At the bottome is the loop to put your lanyard in so you can hang it round your neck, beware of magpies though! What's in the Box? It comes with a short USB cable which is fine if you are using a laptop but if you are using a tower PC you might have to scramble around on the floor with your player. Also... Read review

...I bought a creative zen 4GB because i wanted a good quality mp3 player, which held a decent amount of music, but i wasnt particularly bothered about getting an iPod, because i think theyre a bit overpriced. i chose the 4GB because i dont have loads of music, but wanted something which held a decent amount. What i really liked about the Zen V when i was looking to buy something was its clear screen, which is a feature of the iPod which i like, and i also think its quite well priced. when i got the Zen, i wasn´t disappointed! it looks good, its small, lightweight, and very easy to carry around. A lot of my friends who have iPods complain that they scratch easily, but ive had my zen nearly 2 months, and its taken a few knocks and is well used, but still looks like new. ...a lot longer to scroll down your music lists, and when you have as much music as I do (self confessed music junkie!) then this kind of thing matters. All the old features are still on the ZEN. It has the ability to hold your pictures, which I don't use, but it is a nice touch, and it is nice for using the photos on the ZEN already as your background. I was really pleased to see that it still has the DJ section, where you can select 'Random play all' 'Album of the day' amongst other things. The headphones are still great, but the foamy covers still come off easily. Although, I did just treat myself to a new pair of noise cancelling headphones! I got the 4GB version, which came in at about £100.00, give or take a few ££ depending on where you buy. This is a very decent amount of memory, and I find it holds around 2000 songs, possibly 2... ...I recently purchased a brand new Ipod Nano colour 4Gb in blue for my wifes birthday and was amazed. I have a 4GB Ipod mini and up until I got this thought the mini was very small for what it did. The nano colour is about a third of the size of the mini and holds the same amount of songs plus has a colour screen. the nano is so small and light that you may be fooled into thinking its quite delicate, but the new colour nanos are more robust than the old style nanos. The old style had either a black or white plastic case which although well made was prone to breaking as it was after all only plastic. The new nanos have an aliminium casing, same as the old ipod mini, that better absorbs any shocks, bangs or knocks. The sound quality as with all ipods is excellent, the headphones supplied have been reduced in size since the ipod mini... Read review

...This Creative Zen V Plus is a stylish little mp3 player that is very handy and looks very nice. With the 1GB version you can fit about 1000 songs on there and you can also store some video files and watch them (providing they are the correct format). The controll system mainly consists of a play/pause button, a stop button and a stick that allows you to controll left,right,up,down and select. Also there is an on off button on the side and a volume controll on the other side. The controlls on this mp3 are very neat and are extreamly easy to use. ...Right then, the Creative Zen V Plus 2GB is a very good player to me. I purchased this mp3+mp4 player just before Christmas and first impressions were great, instruction manual very useful so I got familiar with the player very quickly. There is a lot of software that can be put onto your PC but all I use is the Creative MediaSource 5 Organizer and the Zen V Series Media Explorer. But first you want to go onto the Creative product registration and register your product so your warranty becomes valid. Negatives: To start with, the headphones are a bit big and are like the Ipod headphones which have a very thin stalk on them so can break easily. Mine didn't break because I changed them straight away after realizing the sound quality wasn't very good and the headphones were too big and wouldn't stay in my ears, they kept falling...
