The Piano Man Goes Down A Storm

Blackberry Storm 9500

Advantages: High resolution screen. Touch screens fairly easy to use.

...Well, this blackberry is certainly a new breed of blackberrys available out there on the market. This won't be an in depth review about all the things that the blackberry can do but I will cover all the points interested in potential buyers. First of all, I think we should start with the look. The blackberry is roughly the same size as its main rival, the iPhone. The storm has a 3 inch touchscreen and 4 small buttons on the front of the phone as can be seen in the photo. The phone itself is only 4.43 inches high, 2.45 inches wide and 0.55 inches thick, weighing in at about 5.5 ounces. I personally enjoy the combination of black and silver that you get with this phone. The high resolution screen also makes the display so much clearer. The memory space on the phone is miniscule compared to the iPhone with only 1gb onboard memory...

BlackBerry Storm, is it an IPhone beater?

Advantages: Stylish, sleek. Great screen, and loads of super preinstalled internet ready apps.
Disadvantages: Slow when switching between applications, no Wi-Fi! Only 1GB on-board RAM.

Cooking up a storm

...When I first saw The Perfect Storm in a movie theatre I thought it was at times moving and a real thrill ride. Some reviewers have attacked the film for using a lot of sentiment and on a second viewing some of the views are fair. However once the storm hits you are gripped by some awesome effects. Now on to the dvd itself. The film is presented in 2.35:1 widescreen and is enhanced for widescreen TV’s. The transfer is perfect and very sharp. Sometime dvd transfers have a problem with water in a film. No such troubles here. The sound mix has been nominated for an Oscar and it's easy to see why. It's a very enveloping mix that uses all speakers once the Andrea Gail is caught up in the storm. The 5.1EX mix also makes use of the extra back channel if you have the ability. ...I have owned this Blackberry Storm 9500 for approximately 4 months, and I thought an in depth detailed review from the view of an average person was in order! I will mention all the useful bits, and avoid the jargon and pointless facts! Where do I begin! it is a great phone, and agreed it won't fit everyone's tastes, it does have something for everyone! when I first unpacked the phone, I did throw the instructions to one side.... not recommended but lots more fun! took off the protective plastic (and there was quite a few bits!) and then figured out which plug went to which cable and finally got it charging..... after sat there waiting for it to switch on, I made a drink, and it was still switching on when I got back..... but eventually it sprang to life and I was confronted by a wealth of sharp images and colour! the brightness...
