Motorola V3i M? M for 'Mistake' or 'Mediocre'?
Review of Motorola razr V3i Dolce & Gabbana limited edition mobile phone. by
caroline9
Advantages: Good camera and video. Easy to use.
Disadvantages: Definitely not for texters - Itap memory lousy, battery charge weak, problems deleting, screen freezin.
...I have owned an O2 Motorola V3i M for about 6 months now.
The phone has its definite plus points - the camera is great quality and the video (which wasn't on my V3) is also pretty good. Its clamshell style is easy to open and the phone is very easy to use. The accompanying 'ringtone editing' software was good to use, but doesn't work on Vista computers (as I found out when I upgraded my laptop). Games, wallpaper, etc., are all easy to use and change.
However, as a texter, I found more drawbacks to this mobile than my old Nokia (and I strongly suspect that I may be upgrading again before the year is out).
The main downside is that the battery doesn't seem to last very long (I've bought a new one, but the phone still needed charging up every day - and I'm a relatively light user). Other problems I've experienced are - screen...

New Motorola V3i deep violet
Review of Motorola razr V3i Dolce & Gabbana limited edition mobile phone. by
jadeymetal
Advantages: looks good
Disadvantages: less features, stalling, crashing, screen mess up, hard to keep clean..
...So i changed my network to Orange and i wanted to get the new deep violet Motorola V3i. I went into a phone shop to see what the phone was like and how it felt etc etc before i got the phone from the orange website.
(If you dont know what phone im on about then please see this link: http://www.mobime.ru/var/news/2006/04/04/motorolav3iviolet.jpg )
It arrived from orange in about 3days from when i placed my order and i had no probs setting it up and getting started!
i couldnt wait to see what improvments they made from the original Motorola V3i razor. - To my disapointment, there wasnt.
»IN THE BOX:
in the box there was the phone,a usb cable, hands free headset, battery, memory card, sim card, charger & manual.
»FIRSTLY:
i put the phone on charge while i started getting myself acquainted with it. the colour...

Motorola RAZR V3i
Review of Motorola RAZR V3i by
Waylander77
Advantages: Size & wieght. Internet enabled Java applications
Disadvantages: Battery life. Delicate external screen.
...I have owned this phone for over a year, having previously been a Sony Ericsson stalwart. It is connected to T-Mobile.
Previously, I had bought phones that included plenty of gadgets that I thought would come in useful. Invariably, these 'useful' additions would remain unused after the initial honeymoon period was over. I purchased the V3i having seen several people with the older V3 and being impressed with the size of the phone. Below I will list the positive and negative points.
POSITIVE
The size and weight of the phone means that I can slip it into either my shirt, jacket, or trousers, and it will remain unobtrusive until needed.
Most ring tones are loud enough to be heard through the clothing and in relatively noisy conditions, even MP3 ring tones. This was certainly not the case with my older phones.
Most phones now...

How does the V3i compare to the original RAZR??
Review of Motorola razr V3i Dolce & Gabbana limited edition mobile phone. by
fenty17
Advantages: Quad band, still as sleek as the RAZR, iTunes
Disadvantages: keypad too small for texting, only 1.2 Megapixel camera
...Being a previous user of the benchmark V3 RAZR, I was much intruiged to see what this model had to offer, especially seen as I was put off the chunkier V3x. The V3i has much of the same look, build quality, buttons and features as the RAZR but with a few tweaked components such as the iTunes software and stereo audio format.
One of my biggest problems with the original V3 was the quality of the camera. One realises the difficulty of getting a high quality camera in such a small package, but we all want what isn't possible!!! This time though, Motorola have used a 1.2 Megapixel camera which provides much better results but is still behind it's Sony Ericsson rivals.
The keypad still has that sparkle quality, but is still rediculously small. I'm not a frantic texter but the V3i can be a little frustrating. Only 12Mb of internal...

The limited edition D&G V3i
Review of Motorola razr V3i Dolce & Gabbana limited edition mobile phone. by
Giggles_1004
Advantages: Chic design, slim,
Disadvantages: short battery life,
...I was fooled by the large marketing hype of the D&G motorola v3i being a LIMITED edition and rushed out to buy it. Of coarse 3 months later, here we are today and they are still some how LIMITED EDITION....so how exactly limited is this phone??
The phone itself it great, it has an MP3 player which means you can upload music onto your phone and have it saved as your ringtone which is a bonus because you dont need to pay additional fees if you want to download ringtones or have them sent to you.
However there were some downsides to it, you can only load up to 10mb on it which is about 8 or 9 songs depending on length of the song and it doesnt come with head phones so you can't listen to your music privately unless you have it blairing out of your phone. Of coarse the additional ear phones can be bought at motorola but I personally...

Motorola Razr V3i (red)
Review of Motorola RAZR V3i by
rtc1993
Advantages: as stated
Disadvantages: as stated
...I bought the Motorola Razr in January 2007, and loved it at the time. I have actually got the 'red' version of the phone, which is just about the same as the normal V3i razr, but is a different colour, has different default images and a sum of money that i paid for the phone went to helping people with aids in Africa.
The Phone has a lot of strong points, but also a few disapointing aspects too. The phone is small, thin, and un-noticable when in a pocket. It has a stylish, easy to use keypad and menu, andis great for every day tasks such as alarm, calculator and camrea. The camera is 1.23 megapixels, and is a fantastic quality picture. The camera can also be used as a video recorder, recording up to about 5 minutes worth of video.
The phone has a very good battery life, considering the actual size of the phona and battery itself...

My Take On The Motorola RAZR V3i
Review of Motorola RAZR V3i by
fiona_king_x3
Advantages: sleek, stylish and easy to use
Disadvantages: battery life is short and bluetooth hardly works
... Motorola RAZR V3i
I got the Motorola RAZR V3i about a year ago for my birthday, and now it's already beyond repair. The screen at the front of the phone is completely smashed and its running incredibly slow. It worked really great for the first few months i had it. The only thing i wasn't too happy about was the fact the bluetooth didn't work properly. You couldn't search for devices, they either had to search you, or browse your files. Apart from that i thought it was quite a decent phone.
But then my phone started to run extremely slow, and the bluetooth stopped working all together. Also occasionaly when i phoned someone, or if they phoned me, the screen would just go white and my phone would restart. I'm not sure if it was just because the signal was bad, but sometimes when i phoned people the sound went all crackled...

Upgraded Motorola V3 to V3I
Review of Motorola RAZR V3i by
leekirk2
Advantages: higher Capacity Storage/ Fore skins/colors
Disadvantages: weak, not very loud, lots of weak points
...high quality phone for a simple price. very reasonable phone which is competitive in the market in these day and age. may be old but its a a affordable phone which is a make for all ages. with its simplicity of usage. the v3i is more a teen phone which bring a feature "SD Card storage" which increases storage amount. which can have many more songs which will be saved on the SD card. this is a optional feature which is easy to insert and remove. motorola have made a larger sd card which the sd could slot into. where this Large sd card inserts into the laptop/PC so will be easy to add/remove stuff onto.
Looks/Design - the design of the V3I is a simple but slick design with a great idea of a mirror effect of keypad. stylish format which will also attract teenagers as-well as their wide range of colors for this phone which can come...

Motorolla V3i
Review of Motorola razr V3i Dolce & Gabbana limited edition mobile phone. by
SparkyST
Advantages: Small sleak and sexy
Disadvantages: Poor reception, poor battery capacity
...After contemplating whether to keep to Nokia's or have a change and go for a different manufacturer, I decided to try the motorolla V3i , looking at them on various websites, reading the technical specs and liking the look and feel of them I decided to upgrade to one.
Maybe this was my mistake, the phone does not compare to any Nokia I have owned. Has half the features of any Nokia. Battery life is poor.
You only need to make a few phone calls and the battery is dying already.
The bluetooth connection is very fast and has a greater range than i have seen on any other model of phone, but does turn itself off after 60 secs if you havent connected the phone to any bluetooth device, I guess this is to save the poor battery capacity.
The phone has good looks and feel but cant help thinking that if I was to drop the phone...

MOTOROLA V3i.......BECAUSE YOU'RE WORTH IT!!!
Review of Motorola RAZR V3i by
widdley24
Advantages: SLEEK DESIGN, COMPETETIVELY PRICED, BIG SCREEN, EASY TO USE
Disadvantages: HARD TO GET EMAIL SETTINGS ON VODAFONE ON THIS MODEL
..., to minimise memory usage. Although this is far more advanced than its predecessor the V3, which only has 5mb of internal memory and no option for memory cards. The V3i can be used with most mini cards and needs an adapter if inserting into a PC card reader.
So far after 6 months of use I can only see one draw back, email settings for this phone have to be entered manually, at least for vodafone they do, this can be very time consuming and after 4 phone calls and about 8 texts, I still do not have email on my phone, which I find very frustrating as it only took 2 seconds to set it up on my old Nokia 7650, which is still going in the background as a standby phone!!!
I would definitely recommend this Motorola!!...
