The Motorola V550 - (V525's Big Brother !)
Review of Motorola V550 by
SRowlands
Advantages: Great phone - Stylish, Robust and a great Battery Life !
Disadvantages: Not a vast improvement on the V525.
...It's hard to believe that a whole year has passed since I last upgraded my mobile phone, but indeed it's true! March marks the date when I start looking around at the latest mobile phone deals on the market, then contact my existing provider Singlepoint (recently acquired by Vodafone) to see what they can offer.
I had been very impressed with my old phone - a Motorola V525. It had a great range of features, excellent WAP facility and it was very sturdy. Despite being dropped on numerous occasions, apart from a few cosmetic scratches it still looked and worked as good as new. The "clamshell" design (meaning it folds on itself) meant that the screen was still clear and free from marks.
When I contacted Singlepoint, I had in my mind the Motorola V3 Razor as my "ideal" phone. This is one of the latest from Motorola, and looks...

V V Good, and V V memorable!!!!!!
Review of V2003 - Weston Park Sunday by
rfmoon82
Advantages: Amazing atmosphere/bands, barely wanted it to end
Disadvantages: Bare cheeks on those pump action bogs, pricey food
...I am very proud to have been there on Sunday 17th of August 2003, (and Saturday) for V Festival 2003 at Weston Park. This whole event was awesome, and a memory I will cherish for a long, long time. But enough of that initial vibe there, let me be objective and factual.
TRANSPORT>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
Despite the huge influx of music lovers to this outcrop of Shropshire/Staffordshire, Weson-under-Lizard, the organisers and local bus company were very well prepared, and friendly to boot. We got the train from Sheffield to the nearest Station, which I think was Albrighton. The buses were queueing to pick us up, as we were queuing to board them, but not too long at all all things considered (about 20 minutes). And despite the seemingly endless jaunt to the Park with its accompanying house, (the ancestral seat of the Earls...

V for Vendetta.
Review of V For Vendetta (Deluxe Edition) by
Timbo3107
Advantages: Thought provoking film.
Disadvantages: Slows down in the middle part.
...Hello there and welcome to my 27th review on Ciao.
Today I have was given my Easter present from my beloved, knowing that I have a slight passion for these types of film she bought me the 2 disc set of V for Vendetta on DVD. Now this was not a film that I saw when released at the cinema at all as I didn't think that it would interest me. Well safe to say now after watching it that I was well wrong on this matter, please read on…..
---The Source---
V for Vendetta was originally a graphic novel released in the early part of the 1980's. Originally published as a strip in Warrior, a publication along similar lines as 2000AD which at this time was selling at its peak.
This told a story of a rebel in a broken society attempting to drive through change by any means, this was at a time when the Conservative Party was starting...

The V3 - a very, very, very big gun
Review of V3 Base Mimoyecques by
Chouchinciao
Advantages: A little known WW2 weapon
Disadvantages: Not a great deal to see
...Most of you will have heard of the V1s and V2s used by Germany at the end of World War 2, if only because you read my recent review of La Coupole, a V2 site! But how many of you have heard of the V3? Thought not. Nor me, until I visited this site near the village of Mimoyecques, between Calais and Boulogne.
The V weapons, Vergeltungswaffen or revenge weapons, were Hitler's last attempt to turn the tide of the war back in his favour. Targeted at the civilian population, they were intended to terrorise London to force an end to the war. This was "shock and awe", 1940s style. Read accounts from people who experienced these attacks and you are left in no doubt of the potential morale-sapping power of such attacks. Survivors speak of the nerve-jangling whine of the V1s, then the even worse silence as the engine cut out and it began...

V Like it
Review of V Energy Drink by
chaos_321
Advantages: great taste
Disadvantages: none
...I went to my local grocery shop and in the drinks section i saw this vibrant green can which caught my attention it was 'V' an energy drink.I bought the can of 'V' and tried it, the taste of the drink was phenomenal.'V' was like no other energy drink i had tasted.
The rich taste of 'V' comes from the properties of natural guarana, it says on the can that 'V' is extracted from the rich red berries of the Brazilian guarana plant, and i guess this is where the unique taste comes from.
'V' is different to other energy drinks that are out on the market. It compares well to the likes of Red bull, Red devil, Shark, Spiked silver etc which i have all tasted and i believe 'V' is better. 'V' promises to deliver what most energy drinks give you, improve mental alertness, provide energy boost, replenish energy levels and enhancing concentration...

Motorola RAZR V3
Review of Motorola V3 by
otherapy
Advantages: very stylish looks
Disadvantages: not all it is cracked up to be
...I have had my V3 for about 2 weeks and i am having mixed feeling about it.
Mine is black that it is on contract with Vodafone. I use my mobile as my main work and home phone. I have the Anytime 75 stop the clock package. This means i get 75 mins free talktime and these mins can roll over. The stop the clock is a good package. Basically, it means between 7pm - 7am if i talk over 3 mins i will only get billed for 3 mins. I am contracted in for 18months on this deal. Prior to the V3 i had a motorola V525 for 2 years that was a good phone. But it looked dated so i got a free upgrade on my current contract to a black V3.
Now, about the phone. Style wise it is flawless. It looks like a mobile Michealangelo carved. It is perfect in every detail. It is light at 95g, small and very thin. The TFT screen is 2", which is big and it shows...

Sony Bravia KDL 32V2000
Review of Sony KDL-32V2000U by
untouchable116
Advantages: Beautiful sharp picture and crisp clear sound. It also looks very stylish.
Disadvantages: None, however an extra HDMI socket would be the icing on the cake!
...I have owned this T.V. for roughly six months now and I love it. Everyone that comes round to visit for the first time always comments on how nice the T.V. is! Prior to buying my TV, I tried to do a lot of research so that I made the right decision when it came to actually purchasing it. For me anything over £500 is considered a big purchase and I wanted something that was going to be stylish, modern and sleek. I had also decided that I wanted a flat screen T.V. as they are lightweight and can easily be wall mounted.
I actually bought my T.V from Argos online as at the time they were doing a special deal… £739.99 which included a free 3 year warranty which usually costs around £59.99! It seemed like a great deal so I went ahead and bought it. Incidentally I had just moved into my new flat, so the timing for the special offer...

V.SMILE you made Jordon SMILE
Review of VTech V-Smile by
Jordon
Advantages: Learning, Educational and lots of fun
Disadvantages: None with the system
...I purchased the V.SMILE for my son Jordon for Christmas which I paid £54.99 which included Winnie the Pooh’s Honey hunt game. As some of you know Jordon is disabled with special needs and has developmental delays 'very behind in learning' who is also deaf so can not hear the music and sounds.
He seemed to enjoy playing with this, and it has made him smile, it will take him longer to finish games and levels but if this system does what it says it does then I’m sure Jordon will have as good a chance as any other child to learn through play.
**PRODUCT**
The V.SMILE TV learning system is made by vtech. It’s aimed at children aged between 3 and 7 years old.
The V.SMILE is Orange and Purple in colour, the unit it’s self is Orange, with a storage compartment for your learning games in which the lift up flap is Purple but also see...
