Advantages: Its basically a Pro V1 so performes like one Disadvantages: Slight cheaper than a ProV1
...What a great golf ball. They perform to such a high stadard and are suitable to all golfer. They should be a good ball seen as they are exactly the same as Titleist Pro V1s'. They are made in the same place they just have a different logo printed on them. The only small difference is as they are called the b330 they have 330 dimples on them instead of the Pro V1s' 332 dimples, which will make no difference in performance.
However this does not mean they should be forgotten about. Seen as they are not as popular as the Titleist they are generally cheaper which is always a bonus.
They have a Gradational core for increased initial velocity off the face. Urethane cover which grips the grooves well for increased spin for shorter irons. They spin well on the greens whils going a long was.
It is stated on the Bridgestone site that...
Advantages: these babies fly!!!!!!! Disadvantages: price!!
...I won a dozen off these Callaway HX Tour black balls in a competition and am in love !! I have always played with Titleist Pro V1's in the past and didn't think anything would be able to beat them.
These Callaways balls go an absolute mile when spanked off the tee with your driver. I would say slightly further than the pro v1. They also have excellent spin control when struck with your short irons into the greens. I have never had so much backspin with a ball before. I find them very nice to putt with as well , a real soft feel coming off the putter face.
The only real draw back with these is the price. I believe they are currently retailing for around £36 a dozen but i believe them to be worth it , especially in the summer. I have found them to have knocked around 2-3 shots off of my game per round , i play off a 12 handicap...
Advantages: An instant classic Disadvantages: apparently there are a few bugs - but i havn't spotted any of them!
...First of all I'd just like to say, why has no-one written an opinion on this yet!!! This has to be the best stratagy game of all time. I got it the day it came out and have beeen playing on it constantly since.
The single player aspect is great with full motion videos to explain the story as it goes along. It has a skirmish mode where you can battle it to the death with the computer controlled player(s).
However the main selling point of the game (to me anyway) is the fact that you play with your friends (or strangers) over the internet. You can play normal 1v1's, 2 v2's, 1v 2's co-operative games against the computers, and a variety of other game modes such as: meat grinder, naval warfere, free for all & unholy allience.
This game is also a long lasting one since you can play i all day long for ages. Even if you do get bored...
Advantages: A little known WW2 weapon Disadvantages: Not a great deal to see
...Most of you will have heard of the V1s and V2s used by Germany at the end of World War 2, if only because you read my recent review of La Coupole, a V2 site! But how many of you have heard of the V3? Thought not. Nor me, until I visited this site near the village of Mimoyecques, between Calais and Boulogne.
The V weapons, Vergeltungswaffen or revenge weapons, were Hitler's last attempt to turn the tide of the war back in his favour. Targeted at the civilian population, they were intended to terrorise London to force an end to the war. This was "shock and awe", 1940s style. Read accounts from people who experienced these attacks and you are left in no doubt of the potential morale-sapping power of such attacks. Survivors speak of the nerve-jangling whine of the V1s, then the even worse silence as the engine cut out and it began...

Review of V3 Base Mimoyecques
Advantages: Soft, feel, distance Disadvantages: A bit pricey
...are both made of polybutadiene whilst the cover is made of soft fusablend and contains 392 dimples made up of 5 different sizes.
I could at this point go on to tell you that most of the worlds best golfers use Titleist golf balls, needless to say these balls are superb and not your average 'eggs', this is endorsed by their popularity on the tour circuit and of other Titleist products/balls.
I whole heartedly recommend Titleist NXT tour golf balls to anyone who plays golf and wants that little bit extra from their ball without paying £35 for the Pro V1's.
These balls are so very nearly as good in every aspect as the Pro V1's and at a much lower price, as such the NXT tour does not hurt the pocket as much when you lose one, go on and treat yourself to a sleeve... you can always thank me later :)
Thankyou for reading this review...
Advantages: Good grip, low rolling resistance and noise Disadvantages: Warps very quickly, weak sidewalls
...equipped with Michelin Pilote 195/55x15 tyres proved that she was a severly understeering car at a speed of only 80km/h when negotiating a curve of only 30 degrees. Astonishingly however, the same car proved to be steering like a go-kart as soon as I equipped her with a set of much cheaper 205/50x15 Maxxis MA-V1' s.
Please do not go telling me a mere 10mm extra width endulged me into a miraculous grip. I would not believe you...
All in all, I would stay away from Michelin's since the Pilote used to be the best seller of Michelin. If that is the best, the rest should be nightmares.
I could spend the same amount and get a superb set of Continentals, Good Years or Bridgestones. Even better yet, I can spend even much less and get a set of Maxxis, Toyo or Falkens which are better tyres.
Don' t just resat upon the words of the dealer trying...

Review of Michelin Tyres
Advantages: Fascinating, reasonably cheap day out Disadvantages: Caves can be cold and damp and it is easy to trip up!
...*** The History ***
World War II marked a new and terrifying phase in modern warfare. Civilians became legitimate targets of the enemy. Hitler's plan to force Britain into surrender was to break the spirit of Londoners. With this objective London was subjected to heavy and sustained bombing during the Blitz of 1940 - 1941, which left much of London in smouldering ruins. As the war took a different direction there was a reprieve until 1944 when London faced the even greater destructive power of Hitler's new weapons - the V1's and V2's. The new weapons caused additional levels of fear as they were pilot-less mechanical bombs, the forerunners of modern missiles, and to add insult to injury came as victory was at last in sight.
But Londoners morale did not break. "We can take it" became the unofficial motto of London and of "Bomb...

Review of Chislehurst Caves
Advantages: Interesting, original site and museum Disadvantages: None
...weapons which then became known as Vergeltungswaffen, revenge or "V" weapons. The V1 (doodlebug or buzz-bomb) was a pilotless plane launched from a ramp with a pre-set amount of fuel. When the fuel ran out, the plane dived out of the sky on to whatever was beneath. But what concerns us here are the V2s, rockets which were fired from launch pads and were the first long-range ballistic missiles.
The Germans had been developing the technology for several years at Peenemünde, a remote base on the Baltic coast. Some inspired aerial photographic intelligence eventually identified the long cylindrical shapes for what they were, and the base was bombed in 1943, but by then the facility had been scattered across various sites ready for mass production to supply the launch sites being set up near the Channel coast. La Coupole was one of these...

Review of La Coupole, Calais
Advantages: Very good story and well acted, particularly by Courtenay Disadvantages: --
...at are new weapons.
In the film, as in reality, the site was bombed by the entire air fleet. However it was rebuilt and started to function again.
The movie also shows the Germans, speaking in German with subtitles, at work at Peenemunde. This includes the testing of V-1s with pilots, including the infamous female Luftwaffe pilot, Hanna Reitsch.
The film is entertaining and does have plenty of drama, both in relation to what actually happened and the dramatic licence taken with the characters. Courtenay is especially good in this film.
ACTOR'S PREVIOUS WORK
Although Peppard is most widely known for his role in the A-Team, in the Sixties he starred in a number of major films, including this and ‘The Blue Max’. His career seemed to nosedive after a series as a detective in the Seventies until he starred in the ‘A...
