...Okay so I admit it I didn't go to Glasto because I was afraid of the cold rain and mud and of course I sat at home with my boyfriend watching it on TV like some fool. I really felt left out, but if you missed it like me, I do have some advice. I used to attend all the music festivals in my band chasing days, so I've sampled them all. But one that is worth attending is V2000. The main resaon being that the line up is always good and getting ot and from the festival is really easy. The weather usually holds out and provides a fine day and you can get to Chelmsford by tube and also get back into London before Public Transport finishes. The crowd is much more mixed, with old, young dance indie, and the vibe is good because people seem to want to come for the day out not just to get completely off their nut.... Read review

Advantages: Beautiful sharp picture and crisp clear sound. It also looks very stylish.
Disadvantages: None, however an extra HDMI socket would be the icing on the cake!

...I have owned this T.V. for roughly six months now and I love it. Everyone that comes round to visit for the first time always comments on how nice the T.V. is! Prior to buying my TV, I tried to do a lot of research so that I made the right decision when it came to actually purchasing it. For me anything over £500 is considered a big purchase and I wanted something that was going to be stylish, modern and sleek. I had also decided that I wanted a flat screen T.V. as they are lightweight and can easily be wall mounted. I actually bought my T.V from Argos online as at the time they were doing a special deal… £739.99 which included a free 3 year warranty which usually costs around £59.99! Advantages: Superb picture, natural colours and excellent visual dynamics
Disadvantages: Only one HDMI connection

...As this seems to be a rather popular product i shall give a bit more detail to my review. ----------First Impressions---------- Well, what can I say! The Sony Bravia KDL-32V2000 is the King amongst LCD TVs. After owning this TV for about two months I couldn't be more impressed. At first I was worried that the picture on an LCD screen wouldn't compare to my old CRT, I couldn't have been more wrong. Advantages: emazing lineups, different stages
Disadvantages: could rain, bad toilets

...v2000 was my first ever festival. I went on saturday and saw some class live acts. I stayed on main stage because it was wicked. First was Andreas Johnson who had a good sound but lacked a collection of well known songs. Glorious was wicked but the venue was a bit empty at first. Then came the bootleg beatles who were pretty classy. They got the crowd singing and they sounded just like the real 4. Then came Semisonic who were outstanding. They had a great range of songs and a class sound. My favourites were secret smile and turning time. Morcheeba were next on the agenda. It was teh first time i heard em and i thought they were amazing. The singer was really good n sexy and teh band were really tight and original. Advantages: Good music, Friendly atmosphere.
Disadvantages: Only lasts a weekend.

...Thinking of going to a festival? This is the festival for everyone, from the first-timer to the experienced goer. I've enjoyed this festival so much I've been to V97, V98, V99, and V2000. The music is always great and the people that go are some of the friendliest around. I have made many new friends who I still keep in touch with to this day. A day trip to the festival is an option but I would hartly reccommend that you go for the full weekend. There's so much that you miss going for a single day. Half the fun of the weekend is meeting up with new people and having a laugh long into the night. Something you can't do on a day ticket. Go and enjoy!... Read review
