...Okay so I admit it I didn't go to Glasto because I was afraid of the cold rain and mud and of course I sat at home with my boyfriend watching it on TV like some fool. I really felt left out, but if you missed it like me, I do have some advice. I used to attend all the music festivals in my band chasing days, so I've sampled them all. But one that is worth attending is V2000. The main resaon being that the line up is always good and getting ot and from the festival is really easy. The weather usually holds out and provides a fine day and you can get to Chelmsford by tube and also get back into London before Public Transport finishes. The crowd is much more mixed, with old, young dance indie, and the vibe is good because people seem to want to come for the day out not just to get completely off their nut.... Read review

Advantages: Beautiful sharp picture and crisp clear sound. It also looks very stylish.
Disadvantages: None, however an extra HDMI socket would be the icing on the cake!

Advantages: emazing lineups, different stages

...v2000 was my first ever festival. I went on saturday and saw some class live acts. I stayed on main stage because it was wicked. First was Andreas Johnson who had a good sound but lacked a collection of well known songs. Glorious was wicked but the venue was a bit empty at first. Then came the bootleg beatles who were pretty classy. They got the crowd singing and they sounded just like the real 4. Then came Semisonic who were outstanding. They had a great range of songs and a class sound. My favourites were secret smile and turning time. Morcheeba were next on the agenda. It was teh first time i heard em and i thought they were amazing. The singer was really good n sexy and teh band were really tight and original. ...Thinking of going to a festival? This is the festival for everyone, from the first-timer to the experienced goer. I've enjoyed this festival so much I've been to V97, V98, V99, and V2000. The music is always great and the people that go are some of the friendliest around. I have made many new friends who I still keep in touch with to this day. A day trip to the festival is an option but I would hartly reccommend that you go for the full weekend. There's so much that you miss going for a single day. Half the fun of the weekend is meeting up with new people and having a laugh long into the night. Something you can't do on a day ticket. Go and enjoy!... Read review

...V2000 was my first concert and it was a birthday present from my whole family. Me and my mum went and because she hasn't been to a concert in about 20 years she'd forgotten what to do, so we arrived late :D!After waiting in line for about 20 mins and nearly giving our tickets away by mistake we got inside. The site, at first, seems to be huge and there are loads of people, quite scary for the first time festival go-er! There's plenty of things on sale re-lating to the acts playing and there are loads of food and drink stalls at good prices so no need to take lunch! We found a good place right in the middle of the main stage, were we stayed for the day! It was loads of fun and I intend to go this year with friends! It was the best day of my WHOLE year! Advantages: No mud, great bands

...V2000 was the best festival i have ever been to. There were far too many good bands on for it to be economically viable. Coldplay, OCS, James, Richard Ashcroft, Supergrass, Mansun, Semisonic, Moby, Leftfield, Paul Weller...the list goes on and on. Well folks, V2001 looks even better. This year's event has even more top names. Red Hot Chili Peppers, Foo Fighters, David Gray, Embrace, Idlewild, Muse, JJ72, Starsailor, Texas, Charlatans, Placebo, Shed Seven, Toploader, Coldplay, Faithless, Doves.... i really can't remember them all. Oh, and Kylie Minogue and Nelly Furtado.(great). That is enough to make it a top festival. But there is more. Last year, i spend a substantial amount of time wandering around, watching celebrity football matches, playing laser quest and stuff like that. Advantages: Original, Playability, Addictive
Disadvantages: Difficult to control

...V2000 is a good game, it is very original and the graphics and sound are good. You basically have to battle your way through a series of worlds, freeing each world from a virus and killing all of the aliens that get in your way. You have to first learn how to control a spaceship (which is easier than it sounds) as it is a 3D world your ship can move in all directions, at the same time as flying you need to be able to aim and fire at aliens. There are quite a few different weapon that you can use as you progress though the levels and each level is well designed and a reasonable size. I would recommend buying this game.... Read review
