Firstly, let me tackle this stereotypical view of the road system in MK. Yes, the roads are laid out in a grid-like fashion, but to me they're the easiest thing to navigate around ever! I'll attempt a simple explanation - each road intersects with the other, there are two main types of road - Horizontal (H roads) and Vertical (V roads). Then the roads are numbered from 1 upwards. I find it impossible to get lost there because all you need to know is the letter and number of the road that you need. Every road will take you back to it. Advantages: Truly make you're own TV channel
Disadvantages: Can have a mind of its own at times and not record and is not cheap.

...I actually got my Sky+ box just before Christmas for £49 on special offer. I have been a subscriber to Sky for about 6 years and find it hard not to have Sky, but I was getting tired of paying for a service I wasn't watching. I have never owned a VCR, simply because I hate the the picture quality compared to DVD, and my recordable DVD wasn't doing the job as far as Sky was concerned. So after ordering I had the bloke round to fiddle with the wires and set it up. They just had to put a bit of extra kit on the dish and run the new wire through. The offer of a demonstration was promptly refused as I had seen the advert 300 times, so that was enough :) I had received a Pace V2 (I think or maybe V3) which had a 160mb hard drive. Disadvantages: Poor reliability

...I was left without a router to use. Tech support finally sent back a router which had been upgraded to V2 and I was assured the problems had been fixed. I set the router up again and proceeded, to use the internet, this was when the next set of problems started. I firstly had problems opening ebay and similar sites. I contacted technical services again and was told to update the firmware which I did. I was then confronted with the problem that if you visited any phpbb forum it would crash the router, this also happens with BBC weather and a host of other sites. Technical support, have not provided a fix for this and the firmware has not been updated or will be. I have spent time looking for fixes and found a mass of other people that have the same problems.
