At first only available on contract, but eventually on pay as you go. Advantages: Looks fantastic, feels chunky and well made, pretty easy to use.
Disadvantages: Camera not absolutely stunningly good compared to similar phones, texting a bit fiddly.

...to be desired - I can muster around 3 hours talktime on it before the battery is wheezing. Goodies: Well, to be honest, there aren't any. The phone does take a memory card but isn't supplied with one, and they are biblically expensive to buy. There are games, but they are pay as you play. No more free golf game like you had on the V3, which was rip roaring fun. You get the phone, the necessary cables, charges and software, and that's about it. However, if you're getting this phone on contract, and you are a highly attractive male or female, you can usually flirt your way into blagging a free phone case. To surmise, I really do like this phone. I want a handset that has a good camera, and does all the phone-y jobs very well. I'm not all that fussed about games and metric converters and what have you. ...Most of the phones i have had previously have has bad receptions when going through tunnels or when in the countryside however i decided to take my phone with me and when i was in the valley looked at my phone. I was suprised to know that instead of being no signal there was 2 bars which means im able to contact anyone when im in the deep valley. I also tested it at alotn towers as i normally get very little reception there and was pleased to find out that it had full signal strength so i was able to use WAP at a decent speed. Battery With a normal high feature phone you often need to charge it at least once a week so it doesnt run flat. First i tested the v3 with it on but the cover closed and found out that it lasted for 3 weeeks witrhout needed a charge. I then would use it doing full apllications like i normally use my phone... ...Over view I have had my V3 for 22 months now and it has been very reliable, it feels nice to hold and use and easy to fit in pocketswithout bulging. It is light and a nice colour (grey metal). The keyboard feels nice and is nicely illuminated when using. The display has a nice viewing area. I love my V3, it is still fashionable and up to date Keypad I love the keys on the V3 they are stylish and easy to use, your finger glides easily over them and easy to press the keys. The keys on the side of the phone often get pressed if the phone is in your pocket. Price I brought it as part of a deal, the phone was free and I got a free blue tooth ear peice which I vary rarely use - I was paying £20 per month for 6 months and now I pay £16 and get some free minutes and texts included. ...I have had the Razr V3X for approximately 2 weeks & while I haven't had experienced a 'full' experience of the phone, my first impressions are good. I exchanged my Samsung Z400i on Ebay for a pink V3X as I knew people who had got the phone & recommended it to me. At first I was quite sceptical as I had heard bad reviews of the Razr V3 in the past but I was assured that this phone was a vast improvement from the V3. ...The Sony V3 is one of the lastest in Sony's line-up of "pro-sumer" devices - a cross between features usually found on professional models and those expected by consumers. Designed to replace the ageing V1, the V3 boosts several new features including the legendary Nightshot system. In reality I found this rather disappointing as after framing the picture in the pitch black (you can see everything in green on the 2.5" preview screen though), it lets off a mighty big flash! I was hoping for a capture of the original green image, but no =o( Taking about the flash, it's hidden under a panel on top of the camera! When you are about to take a flash picture, it pops up and you must push it back down again to stow it when you switch off the camera. ...connected to a PC to download songs and pictures. Useability: - The V3 is a very useable phone. The fact that is a 'flip' phone is one that I enjoy and this protects the keypad inside from wearing off or scratching, which I have had problems with with other phones. It fits nicely into the palm but is not very strong or durable. I have dropped my phone from a heigh of a few feet (by accident of course!) and the battery holder now doesn't quite fit on properly. However, if you aren't clumsylike me then you should have no problems with this phone, but if you are, beware of problems everytime you drop it. The phone itself is easy to navigate, although I found that it took sometime to get used to, as one would expect. ...I had been looking for a reasonably priced V3 in black ever since I first spotted my mates silver one a few years back, although I had been put off by reviews on the lack of battery life, no video function, and a dislike of Bluetooth and java games, however when offered one from a mail order catalogue at £70 I thought "why not" Well, I bought the phone, and it comes locked to the Vodafone network on one of their "pay as you talk" packages. This is not a problem as I intended to change my number anyway, but getting it unlocked (If I wanted to) would prove to be a problem. The V3 has a basic camera, MP3 ringtones and Bluetooth wireless connectivity, but some may find it to be too lightweight as it is missing more advanced features such as a music player, video camera and memory card – it only has 6mb of space – one song and a few pictures. The battery life however isn’t great. It doesn’t last for long if in use all though standby it is fairly good.
