...Approximately 4 years ago, my ageing father after much deliberation decided he wanted a 4 wheel drive. He had said for months that they needed a suitable vehicle for going on their days out on the Moors of North Yorkshire and the Holidays to remote parts of Britain with their 2 dogs. So off we went to the local Landrover dealer In Pickering. and were promptly sold a Landrover 4.0 V8 GS model with 5500 miles on the clock, all very clean and well presented and still with 2 years manufacturers Warranty on it. We thought this was wonderful and all was well for approximately 12 months. Then it went for its annual service with the main dealer where we bought it from having covered around 4000 miles and this was the beginning of the problems which were never cured. Advantages: powerfull,parts easily available

...I had a V8 Rover SD1 years ago whilst at college. Bought very second hand this was the biggest mistake I've ever made in a car. From the outset it was very unreliable, every time I took it out something seemed to go wrong with it. Fuel consumption averaged about 18mpg and boy did it rust well. These cars were launched in 1976/77 as an executive car, powerful and well specified they looked like a real match for the BMW 5 series. However reliability and quality problems soon cast a shadow over this car. It suffered the same fate as so many other Austin Rover models, mediocre quality and poor brand image led to falling sales and very low resale values. This led to the downfall of this car. Advantages: Sexy looking with Interactive Screen

...I hav had this phone twice as the first one was broken very easily and the second one is still with me at the moment. The V8 is very stylish and sexy and i find this phone has some really great features such as the interactive front screen, You can read your messages and quick reply without opening the phone, Play Music and switch between songs, But find that the Music player can be somewhat annoying and switch itself on if the phone is nocked. I find that the sound quality is good. I find that the battery life is terrible and has to be charged daily, there isn't alot of memory to store music and photos and no slot for a memory card. The camara is terrible quality. Overall i feel that the phone doesn't live up to the buzz and personaly i would not recommend this phone. I hope that you find my comments usefull... Read review

...With it's sleek and sensual design, it's no wonder I was enticed into buying the Motorola RAZR2 V8. It's a very trendy, aesthetically pleasing mobile, however, if one looks past the air of sophistication that it seems to give off, the RAZR's shortcomings become evident. While using the RAZR, I found myself becoming frustrated. The various functions of the phone seem sluggish compared to other, chunkier, more heavy-duty mobiles out on the market. One will constantly find oneself pressing wrong buttons, or pressing buttons twice due to the fiddliness of the keypad. This can making using text messages an absolute chore. When I attempted to use my RAZR as a music player, as reccomended in the phone's advertising campaig, I found that the music files simply slowed the phone down more. ...~Experience~ If you all of a sudden have the urgency for extreme acceleration, then the Burton Fusion snowboard is the anser. This is one of my favorite speed snowboards for more than one reason. It is slick, and stylish and will give you that extra boost to achieve extreme speed and velocity. I purchased my Fusion board a couple months ago at a local snowboard shop. I bought it a couple months pre-owned, but whoever owned the snowboard last really kept it in prestine condition. I could even hardly tell it was used, somebody was really fond of this board that is all I know. Well, now it is mine, so I am glad whoever owned it last gave it up so I could have it. ...recommend you switch blades. This is, again, fairly standard for a razor blade. With all this under consideration, the real struggle with the Gillette Fusion is with the price. At an initial outlay of £7.49 for the razor and a couple of blades, or £9.99 if you want the battery powered version, this is £3.00 more than any other razor on the market. Add to this a replacement pack of blades will set you back £7.99 for 4 or £14.99 for 8, which is again at least £3.00 more expensive than for most razors and the cost of shaving has risen sharply with the Gillette Fusion. There is even more expense if you opt to buy the Fusion gel and after shave balm, which I have so far managed to resist. Advantages: Very sensible car

...I suppose I am a bit of a Ford Anorak. Two Fiesta’s and now a Fusion. (Get a life I hear you say?) Well buying a Fusion was a step up in class for me. The Fiesta being a bit small and cramped and the Focus (after a test drive) was just too cluttered and fussy. The Fusion is a neat and tidy car. Nothing flash or fancy. My local Ford dealer tried to rip me off for a second year so a bit of shopping around found a good dealer in Bexley. Beating the previous quote by over a grand. The Salesman was very decent, answered all my questions and even bent to my request for free floor mats. (Always worth asking) I opted for the Fusion 2. My test drive in the Fusion 1 found the smaller engine totally gutless and the Fusion 3 was too much money for cosmetic extra’s, I was more than happy with the CD player with the traffic alert... ...the extra weight it wasn't a big deal. The Fusion still handled really well and its performance wasn't compromised in the slightest. More plus points. Other Bits ¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯ It seemed quite economical on the old unleaded doing just under 8 pence per mile I measured. Refuelling is always fun in a new car (it's on the left hand side this one) and after opening the cover with the keys, it had a further screw-based lid before I could fill her up. Not wanting to hurt the car I spent an embarrassingly long time trying to work out how to open it! All it needed was some harsh twisting to unscrew it, putting it back on wasn't a problem - you just keep turning until it makes clicky noises like when doing up medicine bottles. The back seats DO come down, but this wasn't needed for the washing machine. There is a large cubbyhole in the middle... Read review
