National Lampoon's Vacation

Advantages: Pure Comedy, good story and soundtrack

...Quite simply a comedy classic that should be in everyones DVD collection under 'must see'. Amongst Chevy Chase's films this (for most people) would rank as the best he made throughout his hay-day. Other Classics like Fletch, Caddyshack, The Three Amigos!, Spies Like Us, Funny Farm and European Vacation all rate highly on the 'laugh-o-meter' but for me this one shines through. ...I was an early purchaser of the real estate interest that was Disney Vacation Club. (DVC). I have been a member since November 1992 and was the second person from the UK to sign up. My family have made more than a dozen visits since then. In the early days promotion was very low key: there were advertisements in the buses and a single information booth tucked away in the corner of Main Street in the Magic Kingdom. Viewing was by appointment only and there were many people who were turned away because the diary was full that day. There was never any pressure selling. How I Spent my Summer Vacation

Advantages: Good uplifting songs
Disadvantages: Few tracks that feel like filler

...In 2001 the boys from New Jersey - The Bouncing Souls released there sixth full length album - How I Spent my Summer Vacation, an album that a few fans seemed to think was inferior to previous releases. As someone who was new to them, getting into them because they were always one of the stronger acts on Epitaph Records sampler CD series 'Punk O'Rama'. I purchased this album off Amazon. It did not disappoint. The Bouncing Souls are - The Pete - Guitar Bryan 'Papillon' - Bass Greg Attonito - Vocals Michael McDermott (replacing Shal) - Drums It opens up with 'That Song' which opens with 'I put that record on just to make a sound.' a lively punky song that gives you a feel for what the Souls are about. ...I joined the Disney vacation club a couple of years ago and used the nights that I have accumulated so far to splash out and stay at Disney's grand Floridian Resort and Spa rather than at the Disney vacation Club Prpoerty at Walt Disney World as I felt a bit if pampering and luxury were in order!! Needless to day, as this is the most expensive property at Disnwy World my points didn't go very far so it may have been better just to pay in cash but you live and learn!! The sims vacation (or Sims on holiday) is now the 4th expansion for the Sims costing £19.99.
