...shoulder so dont find it a problem. it doesnt take me long to vacuum so no problem anyhow. it is not a quiet hoover by any means but i guess thats the price you pay for the performance. i do find it heavier than the other uprights i have used but then they dont do the job so i am sticking with this baby for the time being. the permanent filters are supposedly very good, which along with the bagless nature of it is one of the selling points to me..i think dyson have proved themselves for good design with this machine in those areas, as well as performance. given that there is a 5yr guarantee i think we can all rely on a long life with this vacuum. i recommend it to all and hope you find it as good as i have. buying online it was great value for money and has proved itself worth every penny so far. this girl aint for parting with it. i hope... ...I love this vacuum!!! Its so light, compact and really easy to use even my husband can use it!! I have already got a dyson vac but needed to replace it due to it being old and bits starting to drop off (sounds a bit like its owner really!) I saw this on a preview and really liked it. It is only 3/4 size of a ordinary vac as the handle collapses inside itself. It is very easy to use as you just twist the handle to steer the vaccum on its ball rather than vaccing backwards and forwards. The beater bar can be switched off with a button on the front of the vacuum when using the attached tools. Even if this vac is 3/4 size, it does just as good a job as a full size one. ...This DC03 is amazing to look at, someone has gone "what colour should it be" and then decided on grey, yellow and purple. It is tall and not too bulky which means it will fit in the cupboard better. I like the suction on all the Dyson vacuums and the DC03 is no exception. The other thing I like is being able to see the dirt, as sometimes when you suck up that all important something, it is much easier to find, and to get to!! The hose is great for stairs as it is long enough to do them from the bottom, but if it is not resting against the stairs it can fall over easily, although the rest of the family had most problems with this. It is also great for the car as it doesnt mind too much what it sucks up, and the long hose is also useful for this. ...Approximately two months ago I purchased my latest Dyson vacuum cleaner, the DC07 (The latest bag less, root cyclone, upright cleaner from Dyson). Before this I had the DCO4 which conked out after heavy use with it never even getting a day off (perhaps one or two) ever since it was purchased approximately 3 years ago. My experience with Dyson The major problem I have with vacuum cleaners is that often I find that after a while they start losing their suction and none are really reliable. Having several large dogs constantly bringing in rubbish from the garden (the usual leaves etc…) I often find myself vacuuming at least one room everyday. ...If you good Ciao folks have read my last “shampoo” opinion, you will know that my husband occasionally works as an owner driver for Safeway and transports goods from warehouse to supermarkets all over the UK. From time to time he has come home with all sorts of really ‘useful’ goods that have been damaged in transit either free of charge or at a small cost only. Apart from the shampoo these have included a load of tinned cat food (we have no cats), bags and bags of frozen chips (I am trying to diet), 48 (yes, 48) containers of Dove Ultra Moisturising Body Wash…..I won’t go on, you have the idea by now. In those dark days, the Dyson cleaner was the only ray of light in my otherwise gloomy days of dusters, dishes, toilet cleaner and mops. Now, anyone who has ever visited my flat, been in my car or even seen my desk at work for that matter, will know that I'm not the world's tidiest person and might express surprise that I would ever have received remuneration for my cleaning abilities! ...Last week me and my husband went on a spending spree. One of the things we bought was a Dyson vacuum. We decided to buy the DC07, as it is the latest Dyson out at the moment. The Dyson DC07 is a bagless vacuum, so no more changing hoover bags. It is very powerful and never loses it's suction. When I first used it, I noticed the difference between that and my old vacuum. You can see the carpet been pulled up as it is that powerful and it picks loads of dirt up too even though I had just hoovered with my old vacuum.
