Extensive Ski-ing, great night life

Can be Expensive if you don't watch out

Great ski area, great snow dec-april, fantastic lively apres ski and nightlife, beuatifully kept, clean resort

Busy slopes at peak season, expensive drinks!

...a train (this actually takes you right up to the same point as the Olympic bubble), it's as if they had a competition to have as many different lifts as they could in Val d'Isere and Tigne! I've never been to a resort with such a fantastic and varied lift system. La Daille heads you up to varied runs again and you can also get to Tigne from here too. Long queues, expensive, weak selection of runs

...Val d 'isere is without doubt a great resort with all the amenities anyone living for a week or so high in the Alps could wish for, and without a doubt it has one of the most extensive skiing areas in Europe on the Espace de Killy (spelling). But I would not rate this as a great resort, I have been going to Val d'isere amoungst other resort for 15years now and although I have never been short...
