...Compared to the first Valkyrie Profile for PSOne, Valkyrie Profile 2 : Silmeria is a big change, first of all is the graphic is very good, as to be expected from SquareEnix games. The battle system still has the previous system with more features added, so players of the previous Valkyrie Profile will have the familiar feeling. The field exploration element is more or less the same with the first series, again added new features like crystal teleportation, and magical orbs which has different types of effects, mastering their usage can make a lot of difference in difficult battles. The create items feature by collecting raw materials makes the game more colorful as some players like to collect unique items which can only be obtained by this feature. ...A game based on Norse Mythology; Valkyrie, the warrior-maiden, is assigned the task of recruiting and developing Einherjar to fight at Odin's side in the Sacred War. Flying through the skies, Valkyrie listens to the cries of souls, choosing from fallen soldiers heroes to guide. Instead of having a main focus in it's story, Valkyrie Profile tells of the deaths which befall the numerous characters whom Valkyrie comes to recruit, and while character development and interaction is lacking in this game, there's enough to show the deaths as being tragic. As Valkyrie is carrying out her assignment in Midgard, the Sacred War is taking place in Asgard. Advantages: Intriguing story, fairly solid battle system

...For rebelling against him, Odin transmigrates Silmeria's soul with the Sovereign's Rite. However, the spell is incomplete, and Silmeria awakens within Alicia, the princess of Dipan. Realising Silmeria has awakened, Odin seeks to bring divine intervention down upon her. I like how the story of Valkyrie Profile 2: Silmeria pans out, the twists are intriguing. The voice-acting is okay but the lip-synching for the FMV sequences are not. Also, the cut scenes seem to suffer from excessive blur - I would attribute this to compression perhaps rather than the shots being out-of-focus. And as detailed as the graphics are, light appears artificial and white, and there are fake shadow effects. Despite being a 3D game, the towns and dungeons are explored in a 2D manner. Advantages: Written by the likes of Paulo Coelho, an inspirational read, messages are very clear to the reader, via a sense of unique writing style.
Disadvantages: In depth discussion relating to angels perhaps?

...Hi there! Well for the past two months i have been heavily engrossed with Paulo Coelho's wonderful books! Well i first encountered The Valkyries! I must say i did enjoy the book thoroughly! Although i am a firm believer in angels, this also enhanced my belief concerning the various messages which Paulo tries to seep through at times. He does it well, the reader has to stop and think, which is something you cant help but do, without wishful thinking where would any of us be?! The book concerns Paulo's journey in search for the Valkyries (angels - women which ride through the desert on their motorcycles), in order to unearth the secret concerning ACTUALLY seeing ones angel - physically). This is quite interesting, as Paulo knows angels exist, communication with his angel is no problem, however he has come across a hurdle... Read review

...STORYLINE The game revolves around a missing doctor and how he's so important to the human race. REVIEW Gun Valkyrie was one of the most surprising games I ever played. I imagined it would be an alright game with decent grpahics and just shooting things; Boy was I wrong! I got so into the game I forgot to make dinner for my family. The graphics were at an all high excellence. I found no glitches and was facinated by the environments. The creators had made the environments so alive and the creatures were made with the purpose to kill. Everything about this game is so amazing. CHARACTERS In the game you can choose from two characters. Although one only can upgrade into there second and third form. This character would be the female. Advantages: Wonderful animation, plot and characters. The soundtrack is also very good and worth buying.
Disadvantages: The fact that this movie was sent to the cinemas over the Internet hyped over the the real quality of the animation.

...the Earth against all odds. No. The Drej come and the Drej destroy. You’re not left in any doubt as to why there was a mad panic to flee the Earth. The story picks up again with Cale working in some sort of space junk recycling yard. Cale, of course, being the blond kid all grown up. In case you had been caught up in the destruction of your home planet and hadn’t noticed how very intricate the animation is you notice it now. The “landscape” of space is awesome. You’re not given too long to appreciate it though because Cale takes us on a dangerous joyride around, under, over and through the floating debris. Mankind has been reduced to nothing more than packs of drifters. We’re a lowly class of alien. Cale is lucky to be working in the scrap yard at all.
