Yeo Valley Bio Live Yogurt- Organic & Fat Free.
Review of Yeo valley Organic, fat free yogurts by  Gemerina

Advantages: fat free, organic, inexpensive, tastes nice.
Disadvantages: might not be to everyone's taste

...I recently had a stay in hospital and I must admit when I was discharged it has made me have a new outlook on life and what I was doing to my health being overweight and eating junk food constantly, so now I am weigh a stone less thanks to no snacking and eating healthy and getting lots of exercise. Anyway lets get to the product, I wanted a yogurt one that was not full of sugar and one that was live so that it helps the good bacteria in your stomach, so I was searching my local supermarket and came across this Yeo Valley Organic, Fat Free and Live Yogurt. The yogurt itself comes in many flavours, apricot, strawberry, mango and vanilla (other supermarkets may stock more varieties but this is all Asda stocks). I opted for the vanilla flavoured as I wanted a smooth tasting yogurt without an overpowering... Read review

Yay for Yeo Valley
Review of Yeo valley Organic, fat free yogurts by  izzwizz

Advantages: Low in fat, low in food miles, and its organic too!
Disadvantages: Runnier and less tasty than the full fat version

...and toffee. The fruit flavours all contain real fruit, and all taste of real fruit (unlike many flavoured yoghurts which taste of artificial flavourings and chemicals). I'm not so keen on the vanilla and toffee flavours; they are too sweet for me. ADDITIVES None of Yeo Valley's yoghurts contain any added colours or preservatives, and added flavourings are natural ones (such as organic fruit concentrates or lemon juice). As stated above, there are no artificial sweeteners. PRICE COMPARISON A minor quibble - I'm not sure why the fat-free yeo Valley flavoured yoghurts should be more expensive than the full-fat ones. After all, skimmed milk is cheaper than full-fat milk. **Organic Low Fat Natural Yoghurt** Yeo Valley Organic Fat Free Natural Yogurt 500g £0.97 Tesco Rachel's Dairy Natural Organic Low Fat 500g £0.99 Sainsbury's Sainsbury... Yeo Valley Thick taste
Review of Yeo Valley Organic Strawberry Jumble Thick Yogurt by  worldlad

Advantages: Organic, Fresh, and Tasty
Disadvantages: None

...Yeo Valley is a typical hippy caring company very much like Pret and Innocent, normally the yogurts are low flat, great full flavour, and these particular Strawberry Jumble thick yogurts are extremely tasty and fresh. With the full taste of fresh Strawberry's and slight taste of freshly picked peach, with huge chunks of fresh fruit you can't go wrong and at only 1.0 fat is a great for a lovely low fat treat. Yeo Valley yoghurts have all the ingredients to make you fit and heathly and still known to make all there own products on farms in the UK. Here is some information I have gathered which I hope is useful for you. Firstly they are made with carefully selected organic ingredients…No artificial additives, colours, flavourings, GM ingredients, sweeteners, or anything else that’s not entirely natural. Being organic means... Read review

A sugar free yogurt for kids and babies
Review of Little Rachel's Organic Fruit Yogurts by  Angelpybs

Advantages: Organic. No Sugar. GM Free. Big Pots. No artificial sweetner
Disadvantages: Pricey compared to supermarkets own kids yogurts.

.... Compared to other similar products like Yeo Valley organic yogurts they are reasonably priced, selling for around £1.48 in Asda and Tesco. Compared to non-organic products and supermarkets kids own range they may seem pricey. If like me you want to avoid feeding your baby unecessary sugar and sweetener which isn't recommened for babies anyway these are a great yogurt and the only one I could find targeted for the kiddy market without sugar in it. Otherwise its a case of buying full fat unsweetened yogurt and adding your own pureed fruit which isn't that convenient! My son loves them which is the most important thing really - especially the strawberry flavour and demolishes the whole pot but to start with the pot might be a bit too big for smaller babies. But since the pots are a good size they are suitable for toddlers and children too... Read review

I Like it Thick and Creamy
Review of Yeo Valley Organic Bio Live Raspberry Yogurt by  sandrabarber

Advantages: Delicious, Healthy, Organic
Disadvantages: None

...I am alone in my house. The blinds are closed. I have just done something very sensual, very indulgent, and very, very satisfying. I feel a little guilty, but console myself with the view that it is normal, natural and even healthy. What have I done? I've eaten a whole 450g tub of Yeo Valley Organic Raspberry Yogurt, that's what. And it was as good as a tub of Haagen Dazs. But how can yogurt be sensual, you may ask. Surely it's a diet food, and therefore horrible, weak and watery. How can it possibly compare to a tub of wickedly delicious HG? Well, first, let me tell you a little about Yeo Valley… Yeo Valley are a company based in Somerset. They make a range of dairy-based products, all of which are organic and made with fruit and milk from organic farms that operate environmentally sustainable systems. That means... Read review

Smear it on your fruit, your stews and your THRUSH
Review of Yeo Valley Greek Style Yogurt by  sandrabarber

Advantages: Delicious, Healthy, Many Uses
Disadvantages: Fattening compared to other yogurts

...Greek-style is as sinful as yogurt gets. It's thick, creamy and utterly delicious, and Yeo Valley Greek style yogurt is far and away the best there is. It's healthy as well as fattening (yes, that is possible), and it has a multitude of uses. Come with me on a tour of yogurt heaven. First, the difference between standard and Greek yogurts. Well, basically it's the creaminess. Greek yogurt is ordinary strained yogurt with added cream, usually about 10%. This gives it a thicker consistency, a milder, creamier flavour, and a load more calories. Second, the difference between Yeo Valley Greek yogurt and the others on the market. Yeo Valley only make yogurts that are both organic and live. Their organicness means that they are made from milk from cows who have been fed only vegetation and who have not been pumped full... Yeo, Dude! Eat, Go Green! Got a Tree? Did you win?
Review of Yeo Valley Organic Fruity Favourites Bio Live Yogurts by  S.Bate

Advantages: It's good for you, organic and delicious
Disadvantages: None unless you're on a strict diet, I guess. Dairy also handles nut ingredients.

...YEO, DUDE! EAT YOGHURT AND GO GREEN! DId you donate to Wateraid? Got your free tree? Who won tickets for Glastonbury?(COMP closed but there may be another one in 2008) COLOURFUL CARDBOARD AND A COMP I am on a yoghurt kick at the moment (well, I am most of the time, but just recently I have taken to eating more and finding interesting ones to try out - and to review!) I am a fan of Yeo Valley Organic, I use their plain yoghurt all the time, usually to make raithas or dips, but I hadn't tried any of their fruit ones. So this pack REALLY caught my eye! Not only is it colourful, it's got all sorts of interesting info and promotional stuff, including a competition. Now, how can I resist? It's a pack of four 125g pots of fruity, bio live yoghurts. (Spelled "yogurt" on the packaging; there are various ways of spelling "yoghurt... Read review

EasiYo Yogurt Maker - Easy to Use and Save Money
Review of Lakeland EasiYo Yogurt Maker by  sagitaria

Advantages: It keeps for up to 2 weeks in the fridge, easy to make, inexpensive
Disadvantages: It may not be to everyone's taste as doesn't taste like shop bought yogurt

...I purchased my EasiYo yogurt maker over 10 years ago in New Zealand. They've been using these in Australia and New Zealand for ages. In fact, I believe they were invented in New Zealand. Anyway, I was living there for a while (in New Zealand) and couldn't help but notice lots of people using these yogurt makers. Additionally, large acreage of the all the supermarket shelves were given over to all the paraphernalia that goes with them. This included all the yogurt bases, ice cream mixes, fruit sauces to mix in with the yogurt, small lunch taker pots as well as the yogurt makers themselves. So I bought one for myself and brought it back to England, complete with a large supply of my favourite yogurt mixes. Then, the inevitable happened, I used up my yogurt mixes and that was that. No one had ever heard of EasiYo over here so I... Read review

Toffee and vanilla creamy yogurt.
Review of Heinz Weight Watchers Toffee & Vanilla Yogurts by  SweetTooth93

Advantages: healthy, creamy, delicious
Disadvantages: perhaps expensive

...WEIGHT WATCHERS TOFFEE AND VANILLA YOGURTS Lets get something straight..I am not on a diet. However, I often succumb to trying new healthy eating or diet products if I ever spot them in the shops. My latest discovery is Weight Watchers Toffee and Vanilla flavour yogurts. These little pots caught my eye while walking around my local Asda, and being a fan of most yogurts, I had to give them a try, so into our trolley they went. TOFFEE FLAVOUR Toffee flavour was definitely going to be the first one that I tried. I am a big fan of most toffee yogurts especially Muller, so I hoped that these weight watchers ones wouldn't disappoint. There were two of these in the packet, so I ripped the packaging open and dived in for a Toffee flavoured one. Packaging The pots of yogurt came in a cardboard sleeve, which... Read review

These yogurts are yummy !!
Review of Asda Smart Price Low Fat Yogurt by  welshfruitbat

Advantages: Thick, creamy and tastes nice
Disadvantages: Lack of fruit pieces may be off putting to some

...BACKGROUND I love yogurts - especially Strawberry, but find that branded yogurts tend to be a bit expensive. In my quest for economising and cutting down the cost of our weekly grocery shop, I decided to try a different brand. The brand I tried was Asda's own label Smart Price Low Fat Strawberry Yogurt. THE PACKAGING The packaging rings true to the Smart Price label - plain and simple. The pot is mostly white in colour, but it does have a small section of red at the bottom. The Smart Price logo is at the top of the pot and then the words 'Low Fat Strawberry Flavour Yogurt' is written in red. The packaging doesn't really stand out when it's on the shelf. The only reason you would know it was there would be if you were specifically looking for it. THE PRODUCT Smart Price, as I mentioned before, is Asda... Read review
