...I've been using wipes for so many years. When I had my son, I used johnsons and pampers regularly. Like most new parents, I tried to use the best one for my little one including branded wipes which I don't regret using because I'm totally satisfied. After so many years, I thought It's about time to downgrade into cheaper one's since my boy is now 6. There are times that he tends to be messy when playing or eating, well rather than getting a handtowel, I always have a packet of baby wipes instead. A quick way to do the job. As a parent having wipes is essential if you have children so rather than paying £2 or £3, these one will do for me. A cheaper option for different purpose. Tunatastic Value

Advantages: Flavour, Smells not overpowering, Price of course
Disadvantages: Not pull top tin opening

...I absolutely love tuna but I will admit that I am super fussy when it comes to buying it as a lot of them can be quite fishy tasting or way too dark in colour so imagine my surprise to find that my fave tuna happens to be tesco blue n white stripey value pack! The tuna comes in the usual kinda of small tuna tin, kinda like a quarter in height of a tin of beans or something similar. The annoying thing though is that these tins don't come with a ring pull lid so you actually have to hunt out the old tin opener, though saying that it also means you wont end up covered in tuna juise so to speak if its tough to get off! The tin itself has the usual blu and white tesco valus label on it, not the most exciting i'll admit but then its whats inside that counts in the end!! I like that fact that this tuna comes in brine, so when your done...

...Tesco value toilet cleaner I often buy the Tesco value products because I find they usually (but not always) represent good value for money without a real compromise on quality although the packaging is very basic! Product and Packaging? Being one of the value products, the packaging is, as I expected, very basic. It comes in a white plastic 750ml bottle with the name of the product, instructions, warnings and information on the front and that's about it. No fancy pictures or unnecessary information. The screw off top has a child safety cap which means that it's almost impossible for children to open unless they have worked this out for themselves. Tesco Value Strawberry Cheesecake

...Who says Tesco Value food isn't up to scratch? Well on the contrary my dear Watson...here's a small dessert that is second to none - their individual strawberry cheesecake. Found in the yoghurts section of your local Tesco, these 100 gram pots cost around the 40p mark. They may not look the most appealing of desserts - in a clear plastic pot with a foil lid with the words Tesco Value inscribed on it. Hardly a great advertisment, but fear not, once you try them then you'll keep going back for more. The strawberry topping is absolutely delicious - sweet, thick and tastes like genuine strawberries rather than some artifical nonsense. The base is a little bit soft compared to a first-class cheesecake base, but remember, you're eating Tesco Value here so there can be no qualms about it's quality in comparison with the price...

...I seem to go through biscuits at a rate of noughts in my household. I recently discovered the value range of products from Tesco and I have to say I am extremely surprised at how good and vast the range is and how much money I have saved over the last few weeks and months by switching from my usual branded items. The value selection has products which look similar to their more expensive counterparts however they can often be up to a third cheaper or even as much as half price less. In all honesty my son doesn't really notice the difference so I will continue buying these items. The product that I will review now is Tesco Value Jaffa Cakes. These Jaffa cakes come in a box containing 24 cakes. They are around 56p and I have to say are a good alternative to the original Mcvities range which are considerably more expensive...

SUPER VALUE MUSHY PEAS

...Tesco value Mushy Peas They come in Tescos, by now, easily recognisable red, white and blue labelled tin. Tried these the other night. My wife likes salmon but I find salmon tasteless so I had some yellow fish. Two big pieces and a whole tin of Mushy Peas. These are not the best Mushy Peas on the market but still a decent product. Probably comes somewhere in the Middle of the range. Takes about 10 minutes in the pan, I like to cook them very slowly. But watch them carefully or they can easily burn or stick to the pan even a non stick pan! They are a almost luminous green in colour and to start with a bit runny but after ten minutes heat they begin to get a proper thickness to their texture. Once you have them very gently bubbling then they are good to go. The smell does have a good 'Pea' smell to...

...TESCO VALUE GRAVY I think it's quite likely that most people have a tub or packet of instant gravy or stock cubes etc lurking in the food cupboard somewhere. Perhaps in some homes only to make an appearance once or twice a week with the sunday roast or perhaps with a dinner such as Bangers and mash.. Well ..a couple of shops ago while picking my online order at tesco.com ,I had finished the shop all except going through check out when I remembered that I had run out of gravy during the week. So I thought i'd add some quick but seeing as I always shop to an exact budget and an average price for 200ml of instant gravy can be around 0.70p to just over £1.00 ,It was looking like I might have to take out one of my smaller items to free up some change for the gravy ... However as I am one of those who doesn't usually make gravy anymore...

A value lemon squash.

Advantages: Good taste, recyclable bottle, good price, mixes well.
Disadvantages: It does taste cheap.

...Tesco Value Lemon is provided in a clear plastic bottle with a white screw lid and has a label with the familiar Tesco Value logo and the nutritional information as well as a logo advising that the product is now double concentrated so you only need to use half as much. I keep forgetting that these juices are double concentrated which means I normally end up with a really strong juice and find myself having a few sips and then adding some more water. The bottle is strong and dropping it or bashing it around on the way home from the supermarket shouldn't break it or make a hole at all. This is great if you have children who bash things around (such as my nieces and nephews!). To make this drink just pour some juice in to a glass and add water. I would recommend around 1 part juice to 8 parts water but I like my juice to be fairly strong...
