I just haven't found another brand that can compete with their prices, colourful designs and educational values. This particular product, the "Bruin 3 in 1 Value Pack" is probably the best buy I've ever come across with regards to baby toys. The price is unbeatable and the contents outstanding. ...I've been experimenting with Tesco value products for some time now, since the prices of basically everything has been going up, and have found the value range a good way to cut costs in the supermarket. I've been very pleased with the majority of Tesco value items that I have bought, not at all what I expected, and the Tesco Value Milk Chocolate Digestives are no exeption. The Tesco Value Milk Chocolate Digestives are made from wheat flour, milk chocolate (23%), vegetable oil, sugar, wholemeal wheat flour, glucose-fructose syrup, raising agents and salt. Each biscuit contains 85 calories (4% of your recommended daily allowance), 4.5g of sugar (5%), 3.9g of fat (6%) and 0.1g of salt (2%). ...Sorry men and boys, this is one about that embarassing "womens' thing"!! Hmm, sanitary towels - never my first choice except maybe at night when it may be too long to safely leave a tampon in (6 -8 hours maximum due to toxic shock syndrome, leakage etc). Unfortunately, at the moment, due to a debilitating illness I can only really cope with sanitary towels or panty liners not being flexible enough to get into "tampon position" at the moment. Well, I begrudge paying the price for sanitary products as it is (they even have full VAT added as a LUXURY item!!), so I didn't want to spend out much on extra towels when I wasn't going to be doing any energetic or going out at all. ...to bad porting I don't know. The expansion pack is much less scary than the original but that's largely because having played the original you've seen it all before. Overall it's a decent expansion pack. The gameplay, graphics and sound are all very good but there's very little replay value. It's also not as good as the original due to the fact that the scare element is virtually non-existant having seen similar things in the original. I certainly wouldn't pay more than £5 for this game due to it's length. It's just far too short to warrant a price tag of anything more than that.... Read review

Advantages: 3 books, cheaper than buying individually
Disadvantages: finding a set with 3 your child will like ?

...and figure things out, seems to work wonderfully for my boy . I originally went for this pack as it had Thomas Tank and Dora Explorer two cartoons my son enjoys watching on TV and DVD, I found he was more interested in playing the books with familiar characters than playing the frog one "Leap's Big Day" that came with the Leap Pad. Overall good value for 3 books and a really good idea to include familiar children's favorites into the books available. The games are all different and each book teaches different things. Would highly recommend getting a set of three if your little one has or is going to get a My First Leap pad if you can find a pack with characters you know they like, will save a few pounds. ...With prices on nearly everything increasing of late, I have been on the lookout for means and ways to save pennies here and there. One of these ways was to start buying more Tesco Value products, of which I have been pleasantly surprised. A lot of the Tesco Value products are actually pretty good. I'd rather not know what most of the Tesco Value processed meats are made of, I just know that they taste pretty good. One product that I have been buying for quite some time now is the Tesco Value Chicken Flavour Instant Noodles. And of late, I seem to be clearing the shelves of this snack, because in my opinion, this snack is the epitome of the word value, at a mere 8p a pack. On the occasion that I do buy a cheap Tesco loaf now, I certainly notice the difference. The Ingredients ****************** Tesco Value bread is full of rubbish, in essence. The cheapest ingredients are clearly used and the bread is packed full of additives to try to improve the taste, texture and look of it (without success). Although I dread to think what it would taste like without these. The Packaging ***************** I believe that the packaging is partly why my loaves are stale when bought. Advantages: Very "wow" at the minute, has to be held in the hand to believe!
Disadvantages: Battery life, finger marks on the screen

...on a new format - UMD (universal Media Disc), on which movies and the like are due to arrive as well, these discs pop into a slot which is on the back of the PSP - think Mini Disc and you get the idea. After a while of playing I did notice the console feeling a little heavy on the wrists, but it was okay. Other aspects hmmmmm, the memory stick is a must the 32mb stick in the value pack is a little tight, but will do to save games etc. But to really fully benefit from the PSP multi media capability, you have to get a 512mb or the 1gb (believe me the 1gb's are rare no one has them in stock!). Transfering data to the memory stick Duo is a snap either via the optional USB cable (Not included in the value pack - very disappointing) or via a card reader (I opted for the latter - saves powering up the PSP). ...Tesco Value Bread comes in three forms, thin slices, medium or thick. It's plain white bread and just about the most basic loaf you can buy. Tesco Value products tend to have a bad reputation for being of poor quality, however I found that Tesco Value Bread was actually better than Tesco Standard Bread which costs double the amount. Value bread seemed to be a lot softer and I found when eating it that it was actually pretty good. Even if you find that it is not up to your standards of freshness you can always just make it into toast or bread and butter pudding so it won't be wasted. The bread is packed in a clear white bag with the nutritional information etc written on it in Tesco value's usual colours of red, white and blue.
