...better for our health but lets face it we cant have our cake and eat it can we? If I am going to be ultra picky then there are only a couple of minor criticisms, firstly some of the peach slices may not be as ripe as they should be and secondly some of the slices are more of a sliver than a slice. Having fed many a hungry flock I am the first to admit that price does matter. If I can throw a couple of cans of Tesco Value peaches into a trifle and serve it to my eager fledglings for Sunday tea I am sure they arent going to poise the spoon halfway between bowl and lips to remark on the inadequacy of the peaches. Value means value and Tesco are doing their level best to give us a reasonable product at a very affordable price and I applaud them for it....

Value Wipes

Advantages: cheap and useful

Review of Tesco Value Baby Wipes

Tunatastic Value

Advantages: Flavour, Smells not overpowering, Price of course
Disadvantages: Not pull top tin opening

...saturates 0.2 g Fibre 0.0 g Sodium 0.3 g I have to say I am also well pleased with the price, it costs 59p per 185g tin which is great considering tuna prices seem to have soared these days and most "brand" named tuna would cost you over £1 for the same size tin. So all in all I have to say this is one value range product that I am well pleased with and will continue to buy it, lets just hope they keep the price right and don't join in with everyone else in the raising of tuna costs! ...Tesco value toilet cleaner I often buy the Tesco value products because I find they usually (but not always) represent good value for money without a real compromise on quality although the packaging is very basic! Product and Packaging? Being one of the value products, the packaging is, as I expected, very basic. It comes in a white plastic 750ml bottle with the name of the product, instructions, warnings and information on the front and that's about it. No fancy pictures or unnecessary information. The screw off top has a child safety cap which means that it's almost impossible for children to open unless they have worked this out for themselves. PACKAGING Like most shampoo it comes in a bottle. Like most Tescos Value products it comes with red, blue and white packaging. The bottle has a screw lid which means you can lose it if you aren’t careful. The bottle is about 30 cm high and ribbed like corrugated cardboard. It is see through. You can find it with other shampoos like Pantene and Fructis but only at Tescos and not in other stores although it is on their website tesco.com too. PRODUCT Is it cheap? ...I seem to go through biscuits at a rate of noughts in my household. I recently discovered the value range of products from Tesco and I have to say I am extremely surprised at how good and vast the range is and how much money I have saved over the last few weeks and months by switching from my usual branded items. The value selection has products which look similar to their more expensive counterparts however they can often be up to a third cheaper or even as much as half price less. In all honesty my son doesn't really notice the difference so I will continue buying these items. The product that I will review now is Tesco Value Jaffa Cakes. These Jaffa cakes come in a box containing 24 cakes. They are around 56p and I have to say are a good alternative to the original Mcvities range which are considerably more expensive...

...This is a good quality product that offers good value for money in the short term. Although as with most electronic products, the value will deteriorate over time and should be anle to get a cheaper version next year. It incorporates most of the latest features and technology that is currently available on the market. The consumer will have to spend a short period of self-training in order to become fully acquainted with using the product. This can be achieved fairly efficiently by making reference to the guide/instructions that comes in the box. After using this product for a few months I have not so far come up against any reliability issues but only time will tell. I therefore have to recommend the product....

...Tesco value Mushy Peas They come in Tescos, by now, easily recognisable red, white and blue labelled tin. Tried these the other night. My wife likes salmon but I find salmon tasteless so I had some yellow fish. Two big pieces and a whole tin of Mushy Peas. These are not the best Mushy Peas on the market but still a decent product. Probably comes somewhere in the Middle of the range. Takes about 10 minutes in the pan, I like to cook them very slowly. But watch them carefully or they can easily burn or stick to the pan even a non stick pan! They are a almost luminous green in colour and to start with a bit runny but after ten minutes heat they begin to get a proper thickness to their texture. ...Who says Tesco Value food isn't up to scratch? Well on the contrary my dear Watson...here's a small dessert that is second to none - their individual strawberry cheesecake. Found in the yoghurts section of your local Tesco, these 100 gram pots cost around the 40p mark. They may not look the most appealing of desserts - in a clear plastic pot with a foil lid with the words Tesco Value inscribed on it. Hardly a great advertisment, but fear not, once you try them then you'll keep going back for more. The strawberry topping is absolutely delicious - sweet, thick and tastes like genuine strawberries rather than some artifical nonsense. The base is a little bit soft compared to a first-class cheesecake base, but remember, you're eating Tesco Value here so there can be no qualms about it's quality in comparison with the price...
