LACOSTE INSPIRATION SHOWER GEL
Review of Lacoste Inspiration Shower Gel by
just.bcoz
Advantages: smells great, lathers well, softens, moisturises and fragrances your skin
Disadvantages: some people may dislike the fragrance and find it too expensive
...lingered in the air for approximately 30 minutes or so.
The scent which the Shower Gel leaves on my skin is gorgeous, it has a really light, sweet, slightly musky aroma. The Shower Gel smells almost identical to the Lacoste Inspiration Perfume and it smells exactly the same as the Lacoste Inspiration Body Lotion. The Shower Gel smells mainly of Peony, Jasmine, Tuberose, Musk, Vanilla and a very subtle hint of Mandarin. I think that the Vanilla and Mandarin give the scent its sweet nature, Jasmine adds a little floral twist and the Musk adds depth and richness to the fragrance of the Shower Gel. I think that it is a very nice fragrance which is really feminine and light, and combined with the Body Lotion and perfume I think that Lacoste Inspiration is a fantastic scent to wear in the warmer spring and summer months. However I wouldn...

Joop! Homme Shower Gel
Review of Joop! Homme Shower Gel by
just.bcoz
Advantages: smells nice, layers and compliments the scent of the perfume
Disadvantages: none really, possibly too expensive for some
...although the fragrance from the shower gel does linger on the skin for a good few hours. The shower gel has a lovely spicy/musky aroma which has an ever so subtle floral undertone; although there is a slight floral undertone this doesn't give the fragrance a feminine scent, it is most definitely a masculine scent. There is a wide range of fragrance notes in Joop! Homme although the most prominent and identifiable ones are the Musk, Vanilla, Amber, Sandalwood, Vetiver, Patchouli Oil, Cinnamon and Jasmine.
Joop! Homme perfume and shower gel are described as having blends of Bergamot, Cinnamon, Orange Blossom, Jasmine, Honeysuckle, Sandalwood, Vetiver, Patchouli Oil, Amber, Tonka Beans, Musk and Vanilla.
If you use the shower gel before applying the perfume to your skin you will notice that this gives the fragrance more staying power...

Ghost Bath and Shower Gel
Review of Ghost Bath & Shower Gel by
ivytoad
Advantages: Smells *wonderful*, nice to use
Disadvantages: An expensive shower gel!
...I really like the Ghost Bath and Shower Gel. I got given this as a present, because when it comes to shower gel I usually buy the reasonably cheap stuff so it is quite nice to have an expensive one to try and use! I had the Ghost perfume so it was lovely to get the bath and shower gel to match it.
The smell of this is absolutely lovely. It is not a heavy smell but quite light with the smells of jasmine, hibiscus, rose petals, spicy sandalwood, vanilla, musk, frankincense, apricots and ambergris (sounds like lots and lots of different smells but they really go well together!)
The size of the tube is 200ml. I haven't actually seen this product in the 200ml size that I have in any shops. I have seen it in a gift set with the perfume and body lotion but that is in a smaller size of 50ml and it is not sold individually. I couldn't find...

Shower Gel Runs Far Far Away
Review of Lynx Shower Gel by
chunka
Advantages: Good
Disadvantages: None that's bad
...This is a WOW! Forget having the shower, this is something you want to use everywhere. Lynx Africa Shower Gel is one of biggest fans because it doesn’t matter what I do, Lynx seems to be somewhere in the bathroom with me!
I have wrote about a Lynx product before and I was surprised to see the response I got, I always thought that everyone use’s Lynx’s but I was wrong.
So why not? I’m not sure, Lynx are great and ok, they’re not to the best of value in bathroom products as there are cheaper products with the same quality, well just about.
Lynx always used those black bottles to sell their shower gel, which as we know, is great stuff. Let me tell you about the new bottles.
You most probably wandering why the hell a fool of a 17yr old lad writes about the bottle, well let me tell you why...

Sand, Sea and ...... Shower Gel
Review of Virgin Vie Go Beach Sand Storm Shower Gel by
Nikki-Clare
Advantages: Good Price, Nice Packaging
Disadvantages: Have to rinse really well to get rid of exfoliants
...If you love the beach like I do, you'll love Sand Storm Shower Gel.
It's part of the Go Beach range from Virgin Vie. The whole range is supposed to remind you of walking along white sandy beaches, in & out of waves and making patterns in the sand with your feet. All this while you're at home in the UK.
I bought this at a Spa Party . All us girls sat around with one foot in a bowl of warm water and one of the first things we did was to give our foot a long relaxing massage with this brilliant exfoliating shower gel.
The packaging is quite young and funky in a lovely bronze colour which compliments the sumptious amber shower gel visible inside.
The smell is a combination of Honey and Vanilla and something else which I couldn't place but the consultant told me reliably was Fig! It was certainly very edible and scrummy...

TAKE ME "FAR AWAY" IN THE SHOWER!
Review of Avon Far Away Shower Gel by
fabfrog5
Advantages: Highly scented and aimed at females! My bloke won't use it!
Disadvantages: Can be expensive when not on offer.
...in a neat box, a contact address for problems and a recyclable material circle.
#THE SCENT
Here we go. Right I'll list them as I can smell each ingredient then I'll try and explain!
Jasmine, Vanilla, Freesias, Ice-cream, New carpets, Wood, Play-do and Plasticine, Orchids, Clematis or Honeysuckle, Saffron rice, Leather sandals, New wardrobes, Turkish Delight chocolate, something musky, Moss, Lilies, Roses - so far I seem to be smelling a lot of flowers and a lot of vanilla.
As you can see from my list it is a mixture of florals, sweetness and even a hint of the exotic.
The vanilla smell is quite dominant from the bottle but when the gel is lathering up it's the Jasmine I can pick out the most. It is a highly perfumed fragrance though. It's exactly what I was after from a shower gel.
According to the website the Far Way brand...

ENERGISING SHOWER GEL!
Review of Hugo Boss Hugo Energise Shower Gel by
just.bcoz
Advantages: smells nice, layers and compliments the scent of the perfume
Disadvantages: none really, slihtly expensive for some
...Hugo Boss ~ Energise ~ Shower Gel
I bought my husband a Hugo Boss Energise gift set for his Christmas, he has a few Hugo Boss fragrances and he likes the smell of them as do I. Inside the gift set there was a bottle of Energise Eau De Toilette, a tube of shower gel and shaving balm. The gift set wasn't that expensive and only cost me £30 for all three items; when I'm buying perfumes I tend to always buy gift sets because they are better value for money. The Hugo Boss Energise shower gel can also be bought on its own from most department stores if you don't want to buy a gift set.
As you can see from the picture at the top of this review the shower gel is supplied in a silver coloured tube which has a chunky silver screw on/off lid. I think that the tube of shower gel has really simple colouring and design; yet it still...

Is it vital to use vitality shower gel??
Review of Palmolive Aromatherapy Vitality Shower Gel by
duskmaiden
Advantages: nice smell, does its job
Disadvantages: nothing outof r the ordinary, smell not sstrong enough to be really invigorating
...I'm like most people. I hate getting up in the morning and need a jolt to wake me up. I need a zingy shower gel to rouse me from my slumber so I can get the day off to a good start. I usually find citrus or mint scents does the trick. I have used Palmolive shower gel quite a bit as I really like their honey and milk moisturising gel. They also used to do a nice kiwi scented gel. Since I trust them I thought I would try the Vitality gel from their aromatherapy range.
The gel attracted me as it has grapefruit, orange and cedarwood essential oils. These sound a nice combination especially as I like citrus scented products (I am a big fan of Original Source products). At £1.20 for a 250-ml bottle it is reasonably priced and thus you can use it as an everyday indulgence rather than an occasional luxurious treat.
The bottle...

Estee Lauder Beautiful Bath&Shower Gel
Review of Estee Lauder Beautiful Bath & Shower Gel by
ivytoad
Advantages: Smells nice
Disadvantages: Doesn't foam up or moisturise that much
...I got this as a present a while ago. As I had bought the perfume before and liked it, I guess this was a good, safe present!
I really like Estee Lauder products, but I wasn't blown away by this bath and shower gel.
The design of the tube is really simple. It has 'BEAUTIFUL' written across the top of the tube in gold letters, and then at the bottom of the tube 'ESTEE LAUDER'. The tube has a plastic flip top which I like as it makes for easy opening/closing if you are using it in the shower. I find flip tops a lot less messy than screw tops. The tube is made from see-through whiteish flexible rubbery plastic which made it really easy to squeeze in order to get the shower gel out.
The shower gel itself is an iridescent pink colour, which is really pretty and girly. It is really easy to apply, you simply squirt some out of the tube...

I've found another shower gel.....
Review of Radox Showerfresh Relax Shower Gel by
SusanLesley
Advantages: Smells gorgeous!
Disadvantages: None that I can think of
...Guess what I got for Christmas folks? Only a Radox Shower Gel I hadn’t tried before! I bet you thought I’d tried them all – and written opinions on every one didn’t you? Well, for those of you who have been missing my Radox opinions here’s another one to soothe your withdrawal symptoms!
The one I received was the Radox Showerfresh Relax Shower Gel, although how relaxing it was going to be using it in our new power shower was anyone’s guess! The force of the water jets is not really conducive (I’m glad I have a spell check but that still doesn’t look right to me!) to relaxation.
This one comes in a lavender coloured plastic squeezable container with a hook on the top so that you can hang it up in the shower. It has ridges in the plastic down the sides so that it is easy to grip when your hands are wet and soapy.
Even after all...
