...This is one piece from The Body Shop's Vanilla Spice range that is sadly only out at Christmas. **Packaging** This comes in a gold bottle with a gold pump which despenses the product. It has a creamy coloured label on the front which says Vanilla Spice Shimmer Lotion in gold writing it also has the new Body Shop logo on it. **Fragrance** This does have a very strong vanilla smell but it also has a bit of a kick to it, i don't know it if that's the spice bit! The smell may be a bit to sweet and strong for some people but i like it. ...This is a great lip balm, unfortuneatly it is only out at christmas time and it usually sells out as soon as it's on the shelves. **Packaging** It comes in a small round tub with a lid that comes off completely from the tub. It has a creamy coloured sticker on the lid which has gold writing on it that says Vanilla Spice Shimmer Lip Balm, it also has the new green Body Shop logo on it too. **Fragrance & Taste** It's frgarance is of vanilla but it does smell slightly different to regualr vanilla products, i guess thats the spice bit! ...This is one of the Body Shop's many soaps and has not failed to disapoint. It has a wonderful fragrance and comes wrapped in gorgeous paper so it would be great for a gift for someone or as a stocking filler. It smells like the vanilla soap that they stock all year round but it does have that extra some thing which makes it very festive. It contains glycerin which cleanses your skin. it doesn't dry your skin out, which is a problem that i always seems to have with soap. The first time i used it i was amazed at how smooth it left my skin and i could still smell it on my skin quite a while after my shower, which pleasantly surprised me. It is something that i would reccomend and it really is a great luxury, plus your bathroom smells great when it's in there. it normally costs £3 but it's in the sale at the moment half price so... Yes, its a lot of money, and I do occasionally have to wait a while before I can afford another pot of body butter (hence my rather erratic use of it over time), HOWEVER... * this lasts AGES - I bought it last week and after almost daily use, I've barely touched the sides. I've been using Body Butter on and off over the past few years and it takes me a good six months to get through a 200ml pot. *It works! Never has my skin felt better. Cheaper moisturisers run out quickly and don't have the same effect. I use it on my feet and hands and, since starting to use the body butter range, its cleared up the dry skin on my elbows and knees, and the Vanilla Spice variety is no exception. *The smell - it really is amazing. Less like ice-cream and more like actually opening one of those well known spice jars with a real vanilla pod inside. REAL vanilla! Beautiful, but wait! I’m not finished yet. Next comes the taste. That first taste to burst onto your tongue, is again the vanilla, very sweet (even sweeter than Cherry Coke), followed by the taste of coke, as you would expect. After the Coke disappears you’re left with the aftertaste, which is a mixture of the two, although the vanilla is the more pronounced of the two. A TASTE TEST We carried out a small trial in the preparation of this review. Coolmint was one of the first alternatives to the Original Listerine but maintained the taste strength. Cool Citrus was the first 'milder' flavour. These were compared with Vanilla Mint. The trial is purely subjective and has no scientific basis. For each of the three flavours we recorded its smell, its 'one drop' taste and its 'mouthful sloosh' taste. All three have a distinctly chemical smell (descriptions ranged from Dettol to toilet cleaner). Cool Citrus had a vague overtone of fruit, probably tangerine. ...I don't tend to buy CD albums which consist of tracks from just one artist. Now I think about it, I can't remember the last time I bought a compilation album either (I really need to sort out my CD collection!). My Dad has asked me if there were any CDs I would like for Christmas, but I answered him with a straight forward 'no'. Although, this was a bit of a fib. I didn't want to ask for anything that Christmas, everything was to be a surprise! Deep down though, I was hoping for one album. ...Recently whilst shopping with my family in Asda I was shocked to discover that Walkers had created a new flavour of Monster Munch........ VANILLA ICE CREAM FLAVOUR! My mum asked whether I wanted her to buy them so I could write an opinion for Ciao.... stupidly I said yes. Incase you have never heard of them before Monster Munch is a baked corn snack (packet of crisps) aimed mostly at kids. Over the years Monster Munch has experimented with strange but unique flavours such as Baked Beans and Spaghetti Bolognese. I enjoyed these flavours and bought them regularly. Sadly, I don't think I will be purchasing the Vanilla Ice Cream ones again. The thing that attracted me to the crisps was the strange flavour. ...When one thinks of all the things you like and of those narrow them down to the items you shouldn’t really like I come up with a few items. Abba, Shawaddy Waddy etc rate highly in this list, but of all these items, the one I really hate to admit to liking is the Spice Girls!!!
