...This is part of a new special range at the Body Shop for the upcoming festive season - the range includes hand wash, shower gel, soal, bath melt and home fragance oil. Being a fan of the Body Shop's body butters, and a regular user of their Vanilla Eau de Toilette, I decided to try this product as it was a new scent. I'd previously been using a cheaper moisturiser scented with vanilla which had just run out. ***The smell*** The smell is INCREDIBLE. ...This is one piece from The Body Shop's Vanilla Spice range that is sadly only out at Christmas. **Packaging** This comes in a gold bottle with a gold pump which despenses the product. It has a creamy coloured label on the front which says Vanilla Spice Shimmer Lotion in gold writing it also has the new Body Shop logo on it. **Fragrance** This does have a very strong vanilla smell but it also has a bit of a kick to it, i don't know it if that's the spice bit! The smell may be a bit to sweet and strong for some people but i like it. ...This is a great lip balm, unfortuneatly it is only out at christmas time and it usually sells out as soon as it's on the shelves. **Packaging** It comes in a small round tub with a lid that comes off completely from the tub. It has a creamy coloured sticker on the lid which has gold writing on it that says Vanilla Spice Shimmer Lip Balm, it also has the new green Body Shop logo on it too. **Fragrance & Taste** It's frgarance is of vanilla but it does smell slightly different to regualr vanilla products, i guess thats the spice bit! ...This is one of the Body Shop's many soaps and has not failed to disapoint. It has a wonderful fragrance and comes wrapped in gorgeous paper so it would be great for a gift for someone or as a stocking filler. It smells like the vanilla soap that they stock all year round but it does have that extra some thing which makes it very festive. It contains glycerin which cleanses your skin. it doesn't dry your skin out, which is a problem that i always seems to have with soap. The first time i used it i was amazed at how smooth it left my skin and i could still smell it on my skin quite a while after my shower, which pleasantly surprised me. It is something that i would reccomend and it really is a great luxury, plus your bathroom smells great when it's in there. it normally costs £3 but it's in the sale at the moment half price so... I would say that this range of moisturisers is the best. My skin always feels amazing after application and it's a great feeling when your skin is smooth and smelling nice. I love using this on my legs, as there's nothing like a smooth set of legs. Definitely sexy. ...Recently I got talked into hosting a Body Shop at Home party (long story!) and as a result of the sales I made on the night, I received £25 worth of free products. I instantly chose a collection of 3 items from the Shea range. The reasons for my choice were a) I had already spent £26 on the 2 items I wanted b) I had used products with shea butter in the past and they had been fantasically moisturising and c) the woman who came to do the party told me that Victoria Beckham uses them. I'm not sure if that's true or not, and I don't like Posh Spice much either, but I have to say it was quite a selling point!! I would kill for skin like hers (sure much of it is airbrushing though!). ...happy to offer a FREE colourful gift wrapping service throughout the year!! The items are reasonably priced from £1.30 upwards for small candles, or raspberry anti-bacterial hand lotion for £3.00 for example. They always seem to have "3 for 2 offers" in Store also. So I chose this opportunity to pick up one of my favourite blends there; from the Warm Vanilla range, shower gel, body lotions and potions and silkening Salt Scrub, most cost £5 and the cheapest one is free! There were a lot of seasonal aromas and candles around too such as a brown toffee cloured candle called "kitchen spice" which smells sweet, a mix of sticky toffee and cinammon..kind of a home baking smell. There were other less sweet aromas around too such as Lemon Sorbet, French Vanilla, Citrus etc.. They have already started their sale on Christmas/seasonal brands... Read review

...notes developed where warm, spicy black pepper and linen-fresh lavender mingled with a hint of amber. There's an impression of vanilla in the background which makes it rounder and adds a touch of creaminess to the base. Conclusion Javari Body Shop Eau de Toilette is an interesting and quite complex aromatic blend of exotic spices and herbs with a hint of citrus fruit. It does settle so you can only smell it from close but it does linger on the skin all day. My boyfriend only applies two sprays of it in morning and I can still smell the spicy black pepper and velvety lavender on my boyfriend's skin when he gets home from work. To sum up, mellow and fresh, light and long-lasting, Javari's attractive composition clearly stands out. In general everything about it smells natural, comforting and not at all synthetic... ...but they feel a lot softer than usual. My face feels silky and the important test – my bum – well, what can I say? Ok, so the rash isn’t going to be helped by a body wash, but it does feel so much smoother than it did before my shower. And yes, I did just feel my own bum… The smell isn’t anywhere near as strong as it was in the bottle and in the shower, but I can detect a slightly spicy smell on my skin.
