Great lotion - Vaseline Intensive Care

Advantages: Runs in well, keeps skin soft

...I have been using this lotion for years and have tried a few others, but I always keep coming back to this one. It's really great at keeping skin nice and soft, rubs in well and smells OK too. It's not the cheapest around but it's from far being the most expensive. I have quite sensitive skin, sometimes suffering from exzema and it has never irritated my skin, as some other lotions have. You can get the smaller bottles or the bigger ones, you can get the more intensive version or one with aloe vera. I've tried them all and they are all good. It's a nice thick lotion, but not greasy and it's doesn't take forever to rub in. The only downside is that whilst it smells fine, it doesn't have a great smell. It's available on most places, Boots, supermarkets etc. Defintely recommended, especially for sensitive skin....

(Vaseline Intensive) Care to try this?

Advantages: Fresh smell, lasts ages, doesn't irritate, reasonably priced

...Well, where do I start? I work in an environment where I can get a bit hot around the collar to put it mildly so I needed a deoderant that will keep me smelling nice and fresh as well as having an anti-perspirant added. Vaseline Intensive Care For Men is ideal. I must admit that this is the first anti-perspirant that I have used. My girlfriend wears the women's Vaseline range and she recommended it to me. Before I used this I just wore body spray as I didn't like the white marks you get with some anti-perspirant sprays. Although there is some talc that may be transferred to clothing (normally because I tie my shoe laces before I've put a shirt on, thus transferring it onto my knees) it won't stain your clothes and a light brush is all it takes to remove. Vaseline intensive rescue body moisturiser-A DRY SKIN MIRACLE!!

Advantages: non-gloopy, super moisturising, great for sensitive skin, bargain price!
Disadvantages: no fragrance

...I have used lots of vaseline products over the years and particularly love their body lotions. However, none of them were doing a very good job on the super dry skin on my legs and tops of arms which is also very sensitive. This body lotion was reccomended to me by a friend who suffers from mild excema. Its not a thick gloopy moisturiser like you might expect from such an intensly moisturiseing product. I was surprised by the light texture and how quickly it sank into my skin. It is fragrance free so didnt irritate my sensitive skin or overpower my perfume as some moisturisers do. Within a few days the skin on my arms was super soft and after a week the dry, flaky skin on my legs had vanished! ...As a nurse I continually have my hands in water and also have to wear latex gloves, as a result my hands became very dry and sore. I tried all sorts of creams and lotions to no avail. I had heard of Vaseline products but had thought them to be old fashioned and not of much value until I received a free sample from a sales rep. I am not prone to dry skin in general and I usually just use a light moisturiser after my morning shower, but I DO suffer from dry hands, which I find unbearably irritating, and so I do get through a fair amount of hand cream! ...I started using Vaseline intensive care hand and nail a while ago because I had a hard time keeping my cuticles in good check. I use a hand cream every day to keep my hands and cuticles soft but hand cream is no good for softening your cuticles sufficiently so you can push them back and remove its ghost, you need a cuticle remover for this. I tried Vaseline intensive care hand and nail because it specifically said it softness hands and cuticles and I was pleasantly surprised that it actually done just that. Now whenever I need to push my cuticles back I use Vaseline intensive care hand and nail on the tips of all my fingers and then rub it in and use an orange stick to push the cuticle back and remove the ghost of the cuticle (the pterygium). The cream as well as softening your hands and cuticles strengthens your nails too...
