Being over 6 feet tall, I found this car very comfortable, with all the gadgets in good locations and the seat being comfortable over long distances. Very comfortable to drive at any speed, and stops very safely. The performance is there when required and will cruise as required, I found the gear ratio good for the 30mph mark, avoiding constant changing up and down. The vauxhall astra has always been a car I fancied driving and when the opportunity arrose to purchase one I jumped at the chance. ...nothing wrong with it the last time I took it to the garage. For a car that was 8 years old I thought that this was pretty impressive. The car is not too bad too look at. However the interior is pretty awful. Nothing glam just the necessities. However you get what you pay for.
