Corsa SXI- The perfect first car
Review of Vauxhall Corsa SXi 1.2i by acesangel

Advantages: Economical, spacious, stylish
Disadvantages: none

I have had my corsa sxi since 2005 and as a first car it is perfect. The car is economical, comfortable and looks stylish! My corsa is adaptable to the many uses I put it through from taking five adults comfortably on long journeys to off road driving. The extras in the sxi are definitely worth it as the cd player and electric windows are useful if you do lots of motorway driving so you dont have to take your eyes off the road. The steering wheel ...
...function the cd player or radio when you are driving and can stop friends keep changing track when you are driving! I have taken my corsa over grass fields in the winter and it has coped well, im not saying it a 4x4 but it can cope with small amounts of mud and I have not got stuck yet.... For a first car the corsa is great as it is reliable and economical. It can accomodate five adults and has lots of luggage space in the boot. The corsa has good ... Read review

Steering and Acceleration problems
Review of Vauxhall Corsa Life by PMiddy

Advantages: The overall look of the car and extra features
Disadvantages: Accelation and Steering

I've recently purchased a second hand '52 plate Corsa Life. The black exterior and red interior look really impressive and I'm very happy with the extras. I have however noticed a couple of problems in which I have returned to the showroom for them to be checked over. Firstly the initial acceleration is embarrassing. In a situation where myself and an oncoming car stop for one of us to give way - The oncoming car flashes its lights for me to pass ...
...down and the engine finally begins to rev, he/she believes that I am still waiting for them to pass. There is a huge delay in which I thought could be 'corrected' - the salesman and mechanic have both said this is what the Corsa Life is like. Second is the steering. There has been times when driving on a slightly uneven road (anywhere in Kirklees!) and the car has suddenly turned to the left and once to the right closely missing oncoming traffic. ... The Basic Corsa
Review of Vauxhall Corsa Club 1.0i by aliion

Advantages: Great little reliable car suitable as a second car
Disadvantages: Low spec model and small engine means it often does not meet requirements

...my family cars is a Vauxhall Corsa 1.0 Club that we purchased second hand from a reputable Reg Vardy dealership about three years ago. It is a 53 reg car that will be my first ever car when I learn to drive in almost two months time. It has served my mum well never having any major faults over the years we have known it. From my perspective it seems like a fine car, I could think of many better cars but I have no fears that it is not a good reliable ...
...The only personal problem I have with my car is the peppermint green is not the most manly choice lol. Although I believe it is an O.K. car i do, however, have many criticisms of the car. The basic club model that is the feature of this review is poorly furnished inside with a very economically orientated finish that shows. For example, the cheap upholstry or the plastic interior. These little facial problems really make this car look cheap. Another ... Read review

Vauxall Corsa Comfort, Y reg, mid-shape
Review of Vauxhall Corsa Comfort 1.2i by popz1111

Advantages: Sun roof and air con, large boot, good fuel consumption
Disadvantages: None I can think of!

I have a 'mid shape' Y reg Corsa Comfort. I must say, it is an excellent car! Reliable and comfortable. It's best feature in the summer is that it has a sun roof and air conditioning, not features you often find together! Corsas are great, as the parts are so easily available and generally cheap too. I have had this car for a couple of years now and have only had a few problems, nothing extremely dangerous or expensive. It's a zippy little thing ...
...and dosen't 'complain' like other litte cars can. Being a smaller car, I am glad of the low petrol consumption, especially at the moment! I drive every day and a full tank will easily last me a couple of weeks or more. It is extremely spacious too, the back seats have enough leg room for the avrage adult (mine is a 2 door) and I manage to fit everything inside, from camping gear to DVD racks, it swallows things like an estate! ... The Corsa: From a teenage girl's point of view.
Review of Vauxhall Corsa Active by Costernation

Advantages: Roomy, handles well, cheap to run (diesel), VERY cheap road tax (35 a year).
Disadvantages: not so cheap insurance, bit too much plastic in the interior.

I bought a Vauxhall Corsa SRi 1.4, Diesel, on an 06 plate. This was my first car, and a year on I am proud to say it is still going strong, and has earned a place in my heart! I did buy this car second hand, but at the time of purchase it was only 6 months old and had done about 4000 miles: I got the car for just under 7000, and thought it was a good bargain! The colour of my car is 'Steel Grey'. However, I wouldn't call it grey at all, it's a mix ...
...out, while still looking good. The shape of the car is lovely, it's rounded in the right places, the rear lights frame the rear window nicely, and look very stylish. The car handles beautifully, lots of power behind it despite the fact it's only a 1.4, and is a diesel. The steering is very light and the pedals are smooth to use, and feel light, too. I have the car in the 3 door version, as opposed to the 5 door version, and am glad I went for this ... Read review
