Disadvantages: They don't make this model anymore! The new corsa's interior is just hideous!

..., if you've even made up your mind that its going to be a Corsa - make sure its the SXi. Now, without insulting drivers of the following models - types such as the 1 litre Active and the Comfort, they just don't step up to the mark of the SXi. In my sporty 2005 model i have a CD player, I've got mock-aluminum fascia on the stereo and door handles, I've got silver seat belts, I've got alloy wheels, I've got a bit more poke under the bonnet (that actually makes quite a nice note at 4000 rpm). 2009 Vauxhall Corsa 1.2 Sxi - NEW SHAPE

Advantages: space, steering, brakes
Disadvantages: boot and not as cool to look at as new fiesta

...My girlfriend and me were given an 09 plate Corsa, when she wrote of her Ford KA (click my name for a review of KA). It was Vauxhall Corsa 1.2 SXi in Silver, it had optional extras like bigger alloys wheels and tinted windows, but it also had a built-in Dashboard screen which I don?t know if is an optional extra or a modification, anyway it was at Pioneer screen which had Sat-Nav, radio controls, phone sync, CD player and if it is an option I would most certainly recommend it. The Corsa was very pleasant to drive, the steering is obviously PAS but it was extremely light, the brakes were excellent, the gearbox was surprisingly pleasant, and the driving position was fantastic. For a Super-Mini it really does feel like a big car, the driving position is slightly elevated and the dashboard is really quite large for a car of this size...

The Corsa Club - A Missed Opportunity by Vauxhall.

...The first Corsa I ever drove was an Opel (I don't think there was a British version then) in Gran Canaria in 1991. Nine years later, I was looking for a small, economical runabout and remembered the Corsa. I test drove a Vauxhall Club and discovered a few built-in problems but decided I could live with these and bought a new 1.2 in metallic silver. I still have that car and so this is a long-term, five year test of the small Corsa (as opposed to the bigger version marketed a little later). I'll start with a brief overview of this 'compact'. At first glance it appears to be a small, light, nippy car, which is what it should be. However, this view is somewhat dispelled when you start driving the Club. Engine and Performance: Whilst a 1.2 engine may put potential buyers off due to a lack of power, it should be noted that this potential 16v engine is one of the best in its class, boasting one of the best 0-60mph times of 11.6 seconds. The Vauxhall Corsa a good car, or is it?

Advantages: Great looking, moves well not bad spec
Disadvantages: lots of faults for a new car

...In November 2003 i changed my car from a 1.2sxi corsa to a 1.4 twinport sxi. The car is ultra blue with full irmscher body kit, twin stainless steel pipes, blue window tint and 16 inch tsw alloys, all in all a great looking car. The spec is same as the 1.2 with electric windows, electric and heated door mirrows, adjustable steering wheel, white dials, front fog lights, sports seats with hight adjustable drivers seat and cd player with steering wheel controls. The power of the 1.4 twinport is a vast improvement on the 1.2, this power got me three points and a nice fine! The car ran fine for about 4 months and then the problems started, first i had the rear wiper fall off on the motor way, the drivers seat got a really annoying squeak, which has since stopped. These are only little bits i know but the car was only 4 months old...

  Cool and Classy Corsa

...If you?d asked me six months ago, what car I have, I would have replied: ?A blue one.? Now if you ask the same question, you?d get something along the lines of: ?A 3 door Vauxhall Corsa 1.2 Sxi with twin airbags?.? You need a Vauxhall, of Corsa you do.

Advantages: Good reliable car

...Well when my family purchased a new Vauxhall Corsa Club 1.2l 16v car, I was very happy indeed. We have always had Vauxhall's apart from a few disasterous flirts with other brands :) Further to this, I learned to drive 4 years ago with BSM who use 1.0l Corsa's so I was pretty much used to them. However, even I as a loyal Vauxhall fan as surprised at just how good a car the 1.2l Corsa is. The look of the car is pretty OK. Nothing out of the ordinary, just what you expect from a Vauxhall. Infact there is very little difference between any makes of car in this day and age, and alot of the cars this size look similar. We bought a silver coloured car and this looked very nice when it was brand new and all shiny. The car I first drove at home was a 1.4l Corsa, and so I was worried when we changed it for the 1.2l that it would not pull...

Vauxhall New 2000 model corsa 1.0 12v club

Advantages: 3 years warranty/breakdown cover 1 year free insurance
Disadvantages: Price a little steep starting at £7495 for expression model

...Ive been the owner of the Vauxhalls new model Corsa now for a month.At first I was put off the vehicle with it having only a 1 litre three cylinder engine, but I have to say even with a full load of 4 adults it still pulls very willingly.The engine does however make a funny washing machine sound when pushed hard.Its a very pleasant car to drive, I upgraded from a old corsa and can see the huge difference in the new car.I feel Vauxhall have improve the gear change and ride quality no end.While the speed sensitive power steering is out of this world. Ive got a three door model(five door due out early 2001), access to the rear for adults is tricky.But once they are seated there is plently of space.I like the height adjusting drivers seat with means bother me (6 foot 5) and my girlfriend (5 foor 5) have no problems finding the car...
