...Vax Astrata Vacuum Cleaner After a battling for 18 months with a bagged upright Hoover vacuum cleaner, that my Mum had given me, I decided it was time for something a bit more modern. I live in a 3 bed semi with my partner and 2 cats so I needed something substantial but nothing overly flash! I started my search for a new vacuum cleaner on the internet reading reviews, checking prices and hunting down bargains. I quickly decided on a cylinder type cleaner - as they are easier to manoeuvre than upright machines. I then decided on a bagless type cleaner - who wants to be buying vacuum cleaner bags all the time?!? As mentioned I do like to search for a bargain so when I found the Vax Astrata reduced from £80 to £50 in the Argos catalogue I was really pleased! ...Vax 6131 three in one cleaner We live in a small cottage which has beams and is over 200 years old. Anyone who has lived in such a property will tell you that dust and cobwebs are an occupational hazard. As it is small we bought one of those compact bagless cleaners which turned out to be a real pain in the derriere, it would fall over rather than be dragged around, the capacity was laughable and the bits would fall out of the cupboard every time we opened the door. Best Vax Ever

...Just so you know, i am no ambassador for VAX but i would never ever change from using VAX vacuums. My house now has been getting rebuilt for about four years now, it is going through major structural work. The rubble and dust from this is awful. Being a bit lazy I thought i would use my VAX to clear this up. Absolutely no problem! It picks up no problem and just keeps picking up. The power from this vacuum is enormous and it does not strain at all. The design is really nice as it is kind of a rounded shape, very unusual. The blue colour is very eye catching and makes it look very retro. The one really good feature of this VAX is the addition of a pet brush which spins soooo fast to pick up any pet hair.
