Vax U91-P3: A Simple but Efficient Cleaner

Advantages: A great cleaner with no unwanted frills.
Disadvantages: None so far.

The suction of this machine is amazing, it left my carpets looking brighter and dealt with pet hair (two cats one long and one short hair) with no problems. ...The following is based on my own experience. I bought a Vax U91-P2 Power2 Bagless Upright Vacuum Cleaner end of August 2009. It is now in the back of my cupboard collecting dust. No pun intended!!! When I first used the product, it was good - couldn't fault it. However, when I tried to use it the second time, it wouldn't pick up dust. Off I went to Curries to complain about the problem. They carried out a basic floor test, ie tried to clean a small floor area in the store to see what the fault was. After the basic test, they could see that the cleaner was not picking up dust. They said the filter was blocked hence no pick up and that the filter needed cleaning. I said, ?to save me driving all the way home, can I purchase a spare filter in store to replace the one inside the cleaner ? that way you can test it again...

PowerMac G4, Great Value For Money

...I am extremely impressed with my PowerMac G4 and have completely switched over from Windows to Mac. Overall my experience with this computer has been stressful but has payed off. I got the computer cheaply at £2, i bought it for the sheer hell of it hoping to scavenge parts for other computers, turns out it only needed £30 or so to turn it into a running machine, and a relatively quick one at that. 1GHz Processor and 512MB of RAM. I am impressed by its speed when running OSX Tiger 10.4 and it is quite reliable and quick. i will stop telling a story and carry on with a more in depth review. Speed: The overall speed of this computer is fantastic for me, although i know its not the best of computers, there is minimal lag, and because i am a media student Mac is a big help, meaning no tricky file crossovers between college and home...

Vax a Heavy Cleaner

Advantages: very long lead, and a big water tank

...comes with a hose and tools that can be used on the stairs and sofa but I did not use the tools so cannot comment on them. What do I think? This is a very heavy machine it weighs 11.4kg, I found it very hard to move back and forward and by the time I had finished the carpet my back was aching. The other thing with this vax is it is very noisy, a lot nosier than my old vax cleaner or even my current vacuum. My cats hated the noise and made a quick exit through the cat flap! It cost me £4 for the vax solution which I purchased in Tesco`s, I didn`t use much of the solution so this will come in handy in the future. Did the vax get my carpet clean? Yes it did and I can actually see the pattern in the carpet! I washed the carpet this morning and the carpet was wet, it is now nearly dry which I am really pleased about...

Apple Power Mac G4 Reveiw

...Apple are the best makers of computers and OS but if like me you dont have much money then the G4 is probably the one to go for, as it has all the greatness of apple mac at a much lower price. I got my G4 off of ebay for a very reasonable price about 5-6 months ago and it was a great change from my old dell PC which was painfuly slow and overloaded. External Issues: The G4 Quicksilver is a very sexy and nice looking tower computer although some people dont like the sliver effect i think it makes it look sleek and proffesional, also some people dont like the fact that it is finished in plastic but i think this mackes it look nice and shiny.
