Vango Venture 500

Advantages: Good Size, Brilliant Value, High Quality, Sturdy, Easy to Erect
Disadvantages: None that I can think of!

...I purchased my Vango Venture 500 towards the end of 2006. For the bargain price of £85.00 and I haven't looked back since! Numourus camping trips have bee happily spent in this tent and it will see many more! The frame consists of 2 large poles crossing over to make the main dome, and a 3rd smaller pole creating a loop for the porch area. Once erect, with all pegs and guide ropes in place the tent is extremely strong and stable. We have camped in strong winds and strong rain and it has stood strong throughout. As long as there are two of you, erecting the tent is a swift and easy process. Funnily enough you tend to erect it faster when its raining! And packing it back into the bag is an art the first time but you tend to remember how to do it from then onwards and it's easy enough. When packaged, the tent is relatively heavy...

Venture Leaington Spa - Very GOOD

Advantages: Great products, great experince, friendly and courteous staff
Disadvantages: Non really - products can be expensive at the top end

Venture Portraits in Leamington Spa I've now been to Venture Leamington Spa and i can honestly say....... it was one of the best experiences i have ever had. The staff were very helpful and courteous, the session was brilliant, the shots were great and there was no pressure to buy at any point. I presumed with there being expensive pieces on show there would be, but the staff guided my family where needed and left us to it when we wanted as well. We've now got some great art pieces and i'm very proud. They are at the top end of the market, but you pay for what you get. If you want something cheap and very standard go elsewhere, if not visit this branch. I also have a few friends that have been. One did have a small problem with one...

Venturer DMS 7880

Advantages: Detachable CD Player

...The Venturer DMS 8770 is a handy, quite slim, useful little stereo system. The design is simple enough, two speakers on the sides then a detachable cd compartment that can be removed and used as a CD walkman. Underneath that is the controls and a lit up clock. I must admit this took me a while to get the hang of, I couldn't get it to play CDs and I couldn't get it to work as an alarm clock so I just had it there as an expensive clock. After a while of playing around it became more simple. Basically the standby button is the key to most things. Pretty stupid of me not to realise that I needed to turn the thing on first I know but it's me! Venturer CD1822. Not all that good?

Advantages: Portable and light
Disadvantages: Buzzing on sound

...The controls are simple and easy to operate. There is an AM/FM radio with stereo and a CD player. The Venturer looks good. But, looks can be deceptive. The Venturer has a built in aerial, which does away with the telescopic aerial favoured by most other radios. In theory. For sadly the lack of a real aerial also does away with any meaningful stereo reception, unless, perhaps, your house is very close to a transmitter. For if you are in an area of marginal signal strength you will have great difficulty with VHF/FM reception. The CD player is good and easy to operate. However, the problem is that there is a persistent and very annoying loud buzzing noise either through the built-in stereo loudspeakers or through the headphones. In short, I fear that I can't recommend the Venturer for listening to classical music, for example...

Very Affordable Holiday Home!!

...If you travel a lot, like I do, then the ability to take your DVDs with you and watch movies when you're stuck in hotel rooms miles from anywhere is a very big plus. Cue, then, the Venturer portable DVD player. The Venturer brand is perhaps not best known for quality merchandise and its position on the shelf alongside Sony and Panasonic devices quickly makes it obvious that this isn't the most expensive item on the shelf. To cut this I use an old flymo venturer 320. I took my lawn mower out of the small shed in the garden. The lawn mower is small it fits well into my b&q tall shed. Also if your using the AC adaptor and need move the DVD player just plug in the battery, unplug the adaptor and you are good to go! it works great, I've used this feature alot.
