...I havent really made up my mind about thi product. It is meant to soften and reduce dry skin. I suffer from dry skin and in my case it has softened it but it has not reduced it. Also this is a product only contains a small trace of aloe vera so the consumer cannot benefit from the full potential of aloe vera. The price is reasonable but I feel that it does not do much for the skin. It absorbs well and the smell is bearable, it also doesnt leave any traces of grease. Advantages: It can be bought easily and there are no side effects. You have nothing to lose by trying it for a trial period.
Disadvantages: Aloe vera is liquid form, is an aquired taste. It is avalible in other flavours but even these do not mask its strong pungent taste. It can also be quite expensive costing from eight to sixteen pounds for a months supply.

So, instead of paying £2.89, I paid £1.89 for a 1.15kg box. Not bad, 'eh? It says you can get up to 15 washes out of it, and it is dermatologically tested. On the side of the box it tells you what's in the box. It says it contains added Aloe Vera (real Aloe Vera extract) which may contain traces of plant enzymes. You can also read on the back of the box about Aloe Vera - where it is used, by whom and what for etc. It is reputed that it was even Cleopatra's beauty secret! Well, it could have been! ...Aloe Vera is a spiky shaped green plant, and although i had heard of products containing it, had never seen it in its true form before. My partner had recently returned from a holiday in Antigua, and brought loads of Aloe Vera back with him, however you can buy it in markets in Britian for about £2 a leaf. I was completely unaware as to how many uses this plant has!!! In order to use the plant extracts, you simply cut the leaf down the centre (which is quite thick and spiky)and use the jelly like substance found inside. ...I had never heard of this movie until I watched the Golden Globe awards. It didn't do as well as it did at the Baftas but I decided I must see it. This movie is set after the second world war, when britain was just recovering and rationing was still in force. Imelda Staunton is outstanding in the lead role of Vera Drake, while Philip Davis gives a memorable performance as her devoted husband. Vera plays a giving selfless woman who just wants to do good by her family and neighbours. Unknown to her family, she helps young girls and women who have more than they can cope with, abort unwanted babies. She does not do this for reward but out of kindness, as in her heart she does not see this as a criminal offence. This movie illustrates the class differences that were the norm in the 50's. From my experience so far, yes. Persil Aloe Vera is available in both tablet and powder formats. ...This is a value for money product that works well and is gentle on your skin. I prefer the new Aloe Vera deodorant as the other scents by Vaseline Intensive Care tended to be overpowering even the one named 'Natural Fresh'. The aloe vera has a cooling affect when applied to skin and dries easily. You still however get left with those white marks on your clothes. I haven't found a deodorant that doesn't do that yet. This product has a large roller ball for easy application which does not leak. The product is affective if you are doing nothing too active but if for example you are going to the gym then you will definetly have to re-apply it.
