As far as I am concerned what I look for is a good atmosphere, a good menu selection, good value for money, friendly and helpful staff, but mainly it needs to be a restaurant that I want to visit again, and again. This is certainly the case with Verdes Ristorante and Pizzeria which has been a popular family run restaurant in Lancaster for many years. The restaurant is situated in the centre of town in Church Street, it's open seven days a week from 11.30am to 10.30pm for meals or just a tea or coffee. Hotel Monte Verde

Advantages: Very Clean
Disadvantages: Awful Food, Noisy, Far way from Palma Airport

...In October 2006 I went on an all-inclusive holiday for one week to Porto Cristo on the east coast of Majorca (Mallorca). I stayed in a hotel called the Monte Verde. It cost me £169 and I will now share my experiences of this hotel with you. The Monte Verde Hotel was built in 1969 and was fully refurbished during the winter of 2000. The Monte Verde has a total of 140 rooms that are built over 7 floors. When I pulled up to The Monte Verde I was not very impressed with the look of the hotel, it looked like a block of flats and was similar to some of the housing around Porto Cristo, which looked a bit basic and old fashioned. However The Monte Verde is only a 2 star hotel so I was not expecting too much. Going down, down...deeper and down

Advantages: Interesting and informative tour of volcanic lava tunnels and caverns. Unspoilt attraction developed to be in harmony with environment. Stunning optical illusion.
Disadvantages: Hard to get to without transportation. Not suitable for very young, elderly or infirm. No catering outlet or much in the way of onsite facilities.

Advantages: beautiful caves, historical.
Disadvantages: not suitable for disabled/push chairs/ people with bad backs!

The caves are apart of the Atlantida underground system. The caves are known locally as Cueva de los Verdes. Excellent lunch menu at chiquitos!

Advantages: excellent food, great lunch menu price, good service
Disadvantages: ashame they don't have the lunch menu offer all the time

...I regularly visit chiquitos and have the lunch menu! Last time I went I had a 3 course meal for just 8.45 there are also other options to have a one course meal and two course meals but I find this price amazing ecspecially when the price of my verde nacho starter added up to about 6 pounds and the fajitas 8. The fajitas are really good they come out sizzling on a pan with 4 tortillas cheese, salsa, and vegetables. The service was excellent staff were happy to work there and showed us to our table straight away. Chiquitos food is excellent and I would happily pay full price for a meal there but the lunch menu 12-5pm monday-friday is a good way to save money and have a lovely meal. I would reccommend this to anyone who loves mexican food or who wants a great meal....
