Advantages: very close to beach and shops, helpful staff
Disadvantages: bad food, no entertainment, not particularly clean and poor pool area

Code: Veronica X - What ever happened to Claire Redfield?

Advantages: New bosses, longer gameplay, good characters
Disadvantages: voice acting - as always is a little off.

...The resident evil series our games I hold close to my heart. I remember watching them being played when I was younger and now I'm old enough, or was when I first played this, to not be scared by the games I can appreciate them that little bit more. Code Veronica follows on from the previous three installments on the PS1 and was orignally created for the Dreamcast way back when. The PS2 recreation follows the story of Claire Redfield who we last saw escaping Racoon City in Resident Evil 2. Surprising Picture Quality - Panasonic DVD-S54

Advantages: Incredible picture quality when compared to my old non-upscaling player with a scart lead
Disadvantages: Sometimes disc drive can be really noisy when DVD's initially load.

...At first I wasn't convinced by up-scaling DVD player technology but was persuaded after reading an article in "What Hi-Fi? Sound and Vision" magazine. Unable to afford a Blu-Ray player my sister and I bought the Panasonic DVD-S54 to match our parents brand new Panasonic TX-32LZD80 LCD television as their Christmas 2008 present. Admittedly it was a slightly selfish purchase as we both live at home and wanted to watch DVDs on the big new TV ourselves! We bought the player from the electrical retailer Comet for about £100 just before Christmas so there were no discounts applied. On Christmas day when opened we found a relatively small box tightly packed with the player in polystyrene packaging. When you start playing the game, Claire Redfield is trapped in the prison. All you have on you at the start is the lighter. Lighting up the lighter will then cut into a FMV which eventually moves on and lets Claire out of the prison. The island has been taken over by Umbrella Corporation. This time, the zombies have attacked the island, meaning that Claire will have to escape and look for clues of his brother Chris who is missing, apparently held by Umbrella. Resident Evil Code Veronica for PS2!!!

Advantages: Cool graphics, sound and gameplay
Disadvantages: Not as much gore as previous games.

Promises, promises.

Advantages: Brilliantly written.
Disadvantages: Some bad language, but all in context.

...saves his fathers life and this marks a change in their relationship, Charlie becomes the strong, capable one and his father, Charles becomes weaker and somehow resentful rather than grateful. There are more, so many more. SO WILL YOU ENJOY IT? This novel can be read on many levels, if the symbolism goes over your head thats fine because its a good story, you really want to know how things will work out for each character. If you enjoy a bloody well written multi-layered novel then there is plenty here to keep you happy, this is no AGA saga. The standard of writing is high and I will definitely be looking for other books by this author.
